Outdoor auto flower

My 2¢ ... they would have done much better if you simply removed plant from solo and planted as a plug. Solo is restricting lateral growth. That’s why its growing straight up instead of spread out.

Its too late to deal with it now as autos have a very limited veg stage before preflower. Once it begins preflower, plant size is what it is , and yield will show much less.

10 gallons of good soil is enough to carry autos all the way thru its average 90 day life. Actually 10 gallons is a bit much for autos. The first 5-6 weeks autos setup the rootmass , any issues that drags on plant during that time will show during grow.

Each of the cups had cutouts. Here’s a pic of some that were left behind.

Had some mold? And this one was looking a little funny. Other than that they were looking great. I watered without feeding and they got plenty. The only thing I regret right now is not tying them down in the beginning I think it would’ve did them great. Either way I’m happy with the way things are progressing. I hope they stretch a little more before flowering but I saw a few pistils so it may be a lil too late.

Went to feed the ladies last night. They are doing great. They have transitioned to bloom and are smelling strong. Gave them pure blend pro bloom to help with those buds forming. Gonna let them do their thing for a week or so before I go back out.

btw. The plant I posted last, the weak looking one with powdery mildew...she bounced back strong. I think she needed light lol

UPDATE

Smooth sailing so far...I dint have much to do to them besides feed and rotate the pots around. they seem to be doing good for some guerilla plants. I have some sin tra bajo autos that should be here tomorrow they are going to be thrown outdoors as well!

I put them upside down, I agree too small a cup or too long a cup you may dwarf it.
The cup does a few things:
1. no transplanting
2. root restriction seems to make stronger roots?
3. Watering:
a. less water needed, just water the cup first.
b. You wont nasty up the whole pot with stagnant water.
c. you can give consistent small watering to the cup.
4. Protects stem from ferts, you can now safely top feed and dig in around it.
Eventually the roots will reach the top unless you went too big.

idk about the wetness thats just how it is out there lol all of the grass n shit is wet too maybe its dew or fog idk.

Hmmm maybe need some ideas to keep it dryer. I have the opposite issue here so im at a blank.

Plants are moving along, seems like my treating for pm last time did a good job of keeping it at bay so i went ahead and lightly sprayed around the buds to be preventative. I did not feed them this time just watered with plain old water. Coming up tuesday will be 10 weeks so ill be paying close attention to the ones that are fattening up.

Cool stretched nicely. I use sprayer, RO, yucca to clean the buds before harvest n after trimming
