came home to a 42 degree tent and leafs curling right up poor things, I hope it won't cause too much of a problem ??
I can bring the temp down to a more suitable level or try even if I have to put in ice packs lol. Will the plants recover and return to normal? Will if you dont get heat under control!
Sorry about lights being onPic might help?
I understand my your right but I'm in a loft space lol so the room outside the tent is just as hot. We having heatwave over here .Ice packs! Just use an inline fan and tent will stayvat room temperature.
Cannabis cannot survive 42c air temps, if you have your thermometer in the light the air temps are not 42c because thevlight is heating up your thermometer way past air temps. 42c is uncomfortable fir humans.
just open the damn tent if possible man
Yea thats what I've done for now, will it be worth reversing the extraction fan so its blowing in the air from outside ? Or am I better of leaving that so I'm shuvverling out the heat of the room . Hmmmmm
looking that way m8 initguess you need in and out fans mate
most definitelylooking that way m8 init

yea thanks man, my only options really are to bring in more air from outside ie another fan or move the tent , think im gonna try another fanThen your grow is in the wrong place to start with. In a heatwave id cool my house back down to 25c and put my tent in it.
I dont know your house or your situation but bringing the loft temp down is what you want to do, the plants alive still so it probably wasnt that hot.
If you know heatwaves happen you need a supply of pure 100% sativa from a hot country with little breeding or pollen chucking. Mexican sativa, mekong haze, kerala, durban, hawaiian and stuff of thin leaved nature that better suited to hot climates.
Vent the loft somehow.

@2Hearts is right, more fans just means more moving heat. Are you venting outside? Can you pull air from a cooled part of the house? Do some math, figure out if you can put a portable a/c in there.Fans dont cool air they just move it around.
Not to plants.Wait, 42 DEGREES? Uh, that's chilly
