Well ive been laid off for 2 or so weeks now and im collecting unemployment but its hardly any money so ive been thinking of ways to make money (without stealing/robbing).

I was going to start a small grow but due to my gambling problem I have no money now (yeah im an idiot).

So im starting this thread to imitate to 1000 things to do while stoned thread....

1. Get a new job!
2. sell drugs
3. Grow weed
4. Become a pimp
5. Become a man-whore

Been playing poker all year... ive won a few tourneys in atlantic city but I need to learn to control it. I end up loseing what i won on the roulette table or I play poker when im high.... Lets just say that doesnt work out lol

check out some poker message boards and learn bankroll management. Once i did that, i was amazed how well i did.

ANd you've only been playing poker this year? There are lots left to be learned my friend!

the biggest things attributed to my success is: bankroll management, position and patience!

yeah, and by affiliate marketing I mean like the free ipod sites, there are some better than others, but if you haven't done it before you can make bank quick...like $1,000 your first day probably

12) Wear a hat and go out in the forest and dig up some worms and sell to local four fingered fisherman

13) Walk about a mile through town scavaging trashcans for bottles and return them.

14) walk down to your local College and bring back all the beer bottles you can find ( specially around frat houses )

15) Direct your own porn and sell it to all your friends

These might work, Idk, But god damnit its worth a shot, you dont have a job, you have time!

nah, if you play it perfectly you need a big BR and the biggest advantage you can have is about 1-2%, so you need to play a lot of hands and play with a lot of money to make it worthwhile.

This assumes that you are card counting and know your shit

Bankroll management... hmm maybe i should read my dan harrinton guide to hold em book... I think theres something in there about that. Its just so damn boring i cant finish it!

honestly ive been playing poker for 5 years between online and recently this year vegas and Atlantic city. I end up losing becuase i get distracted by tv or I refuse to pay attention to the players because they piss me off becuase they are so dumb! And then theres the free drinks...

Bottom line i need to wake the fuck up, Realize i can and have won thousands of dollars playing Hold'em... and stop playing like a drunk teenager

The problem is ive lost alot gambling (over 10k) this year and realize i have a gambling problem. Im great at poker but How can i continue to gamble with what little money i do have? its a tough decision but I know i cant walk away from poker. Im just too good at it.... idk I just need to learn to manage my money once ive earned it, and i should be ok.

for number 13...

my friends dad does this. he lets us drink at his house but only cans because he saves them and gets 80-90 bucks for a trash bag full. he actually yells at us if we get bottles... lol
