need soil help please!

ok so yesterday I asked my girl to pick me up some potting soil because i am getting ready to move my plants into bigger pots and we had no soil. So she went and picked up " Miracle Gro Potting Mix" .. id imagine because she doesnt take this me growing weed thing serious and just scooped up the cheapest soil she could get her hands on to appease me.. anyways i was wondering if someone could help.. would this soil be fine for now to put my babies in.. i just dont want to nutrient shock and kill them currently they were in some seed starting mix crap she got and they did well but i am worried now . Thank you here are pics of the plants and mix.. i grow them in 2 600w led cob niello lamps if that has to do with any nuts they may need.

Yea thats the thing they aint doing returns now near us due to this covid thing.. plus we got in a fight cause i specifically told her no extended release stuff because im not waiting 6 months to flower my plants .. she still got this .. and i kind of went off on her makin comments like.. " you cant read? It says 6 months if nutrients on the bag!" Lol

Just kidding. Anyway I would not put your seedlings in those because it says 6 months. I would use natures care organic or something similar, if you’re stuck getting something from the big box stores.

yah ill just get something myself.. everythings closed here still besides big chains.. is that at wal mart?.. she can use it on her plants.. shes been growing tomato plants strawberry herbs.. and wierdly.. squash in pots so she got 2 bags should be good for her .. also can i put those little plants in 5 gal pots now and be done w it? Or should i transplant to 1 ... then 3 .. then 5.. they each have their own dedicated 600w lamp when inside.. i put em outdoors like now.. when its sunny and between noon and 5 for some fresh light

also pricing.. i think her concerns spending too much on 2 plants.. i tried explaining id rather spend alot 1x though than spend $10 100x correcting issues .

Try and find something that says it feeds for 60 days. And organic would be a plus.

I have to agree with her. Once you drop them in and come back in two day’s and they’re ripping through the soil, I would never go back to paper towel or soaking seeds.

I stopped using any chemicals nutrients with my garden plants years ago, and never looked back. I'd get a decent organic mix and some dry organic fertilizer. And a thing of Alaska Fish Fertilizer since you're outdoors. I won't use it indoors anymore.

Black Gold is decent soil. Maybe grab a bag of perlite too to lighten up the soil a bit.

Lol its funny though cause right now .. since she saw me do it.. shes got onion seeds in a cup of water now LOLL.. but yah you guys seem like youve done this before.. me not soo much.. on another note.. is it ok to do what im doing and bring plants outside about 6 hours a day then put under grow lights about 12 more.. or should they just stick to the grow light..

MG grows lots of plants well but it has too much Nitrogen for cannabis, IMO. When you're in mid-flower you want control over the amount N, especially in the last few weeks.

Yeah you can transplant into 5gal and be done. I just looked up that light you got and it appears to be about 140 actual watts according to reviews on amazon. And yeah you can order soil from amazon but it's extremely expensive. Bringing your plants outside can increase your chance of pests.

Is that enough for just 2 plants.. its 140 each plant then? Or is it like 80 after the light hits the plant...

Yeah home depot.. it is quite a ways though.. i live in a very small town.. wal mart is the only thing decently close.. home depot is about 35 miles away
