For how much butter he has there, 14% is PLENTY to absorb the THC. But i suspect that has something to do with the texture...14% fat butter? Why? THC is fat soluble. You need the fat to adsorb the THC.
I used like 2 ounces of trim to 1.5 lb of butterFor how much butter he has there, 14% is PLENTY to absorb the THC. But i suspect that has something to do with the texture...

Use unrefined organic coconut oil. You want the highest fatty content for the cannabis to be absorbed into. That's the only way. And oh yea, decarb your material first....For how much butter he has there, 14% is PLENTY to absorb the THC. But i suspect that has something to do with the texture...
Really it's not. Coconut oil has around 65-68 % fat content that the cannabinoid will bind too. Just saying.Yeah thats plenty of fat.
dude we are talking of miligrams of thc to ounces of fat. Its enough. I bond 14 grams of hash oil to 2 liquid ounces of vegetable oil NO PROBLEM.Really it's not. Coconut oil has around 65-68 % fat content that the cannabinoid will bind too. Just saying.
Gee that's funny, cause I read the original post as using 14% butter fat. I didn't see where he stated milligrams or even a ratio of weed to butter for.that matter. Which is it @Mybabyjustine?dude we are talking of miligrams of thc to ounces of fat. Its enough. I bond 14 grams of hash oil to 2 liquid ounces of vegetable oil NO PROBLEM.

You blind? Dude said 2 ounces of TRIM and he has a fucking dinner plate of butter.Gee that's funny, cause I read the original post as using 14% butter fat. I didn't see where he stated milligrams or even a ratio of weed to butter for.that matter. Which is it @Mybabyjustine?
Ok homie, but 2 zips of trim in CCO, properly decarbed will have 5 times the benifts of using a 15% fat butter. Have you ever even made edibal oil before?? Cause you sound rather ignorant on the subject. Gawd, do some fuckin research, or maybe actually do it for yourself. Like I have for years. You blind? Dude said 2 ounces of TRIM and he has a fucking dinner plate of butter.

I was confused by the “14% Fat Content butter”. Most All butter is 80-85% fat. That’s what makes it so good. The 14% The OP mentioned came from the % daily value on the label. I thought it was some low fat butter substitute they were using. So yeah plenty of butter for that. It almost looks like the butter curdled or separated. For how much butter he has there, 14% is PLENTY to absorb the THC. But i suspect that has something to do with the texture...
Hello all question I made canabutter with trim but it came out real crumbly any ideas why I used 14% fat content real butter.
So I used a dry trim and also decarbed it then in double broiler I used 1.5lb butter I didnt clarify it . Let simmer 6 hrs let cool put in fridge.overnightButter is plenty fatty enough for that amount of trim. If your trying to dissolve a huge amount of thc from a ton of trim other oils technically “can” hold more. But op is way far from that. I believe the crumble might be coming from water content...like top loader asked...how did you make it and with dry or wet material.
Sounds good to me! I’m surprisedSo I used a dry trim and also decarbed it then in double broiler I used 1.5lb butter I didnt clarify it . Let simmer 6 hrs let cool put in fridge.overnight
