Quality Over Quantity

Lol i know it seems crazy but its also not hard to imagine a world with a bunch of super autos. Instant gratification and impatience is the new trend these days...we also have to remember its not us that decide, ultimately its the end consumer. Ive seen plenty of growers talking about how they dont particularly like a strain because of reason xyz but its where the demand is so they keep growing it. Its all just opinion and speculation anyways lol i just know i wont be surprised if it happens.

You cant top or scrog autos though.
You can definalty top an auto although it helps to know which auto as each strain is different. The problem with an Auto is you are on a set clock but if done right some strains can be topped successfully. I think it is more likely that many have had trouble with the timing of it as with a photo you can take as long as you want to heal the plant in veg but if you hurt an auto at the wrong time you can seriously hurt yields. That just my thinking anyway.

UPDATE

nothing special...just been pulling them down to try and get some more bud sites. Theres pistils shooting out of the tippity tops but not much anywhere else. Im going to keep pulling them down until they start really flowering then kinda let them do their thing...i also did a little pruning underneath them.

It’s been a minute guys and gals. Here’s and update about 30 days in. Things are going super smooth. Once in flower they started to show some deficiencies but a quick first feeding of bloom nutes cured that and now they are all perfect. My ph meter broke so they have not been ph’d at all just watered with regular tap water every 3-4 day’s. They are starting to smell up the tent but not to the touch? So far I like seeing autos in the tent. They grow so fast it’s amazing to look at them every day!

Here's another "advanced" Autoflower pointer when growing indoors..chuckle.

when you see your Auto beefing up..looking super leafy and stout..you don't want to defoliate to get light down below the canopy..
Paradoxically, you raise your lights (increase distance from the source)...temporarily. In doing so, you create the "stretch" in the plant we are often trying to combat..this will open up the canopy a bit by creating space between the nodes..once you're happy with the stretch...Return the lights to normal level..you will likely want to LST, by tying the growing tip over a bit so that you can keep a significant portion if the fan leaves closer to the light as the side branches grow ..:)

cheers

i like that idea...i thought about defoling but since its a auto i dint want to stunt/stress her. the more bushy one def needs more training and things.
