Hey peeps, I'm on my second grow. I have 4 plants Ive been growing for about 2 months. I was vegging 24/0. I am now about 3 weeks into Flowering 12/12 and I think I have Hermaphrodite plants. 20200701_225849.jpg20200701_225821.jpg20200701_225747.jpg20200701_225743.jpg20200701_225734.jpg

Its definitely got male flowers there...by chance is it a White Widow auto? WW herms at the slightest provocation due to its sativa genes.

No clue. The seeds came from India. Hoping one day to grow them and have em sent out to see what plant it is. Doesnt look like It going to the this time.

if its the only plant your planning to grow, especially if its some exotic Indian strain/sativa, you can grow it out to see what happens. Ive got some great bud and seeds from a WW herm, just make sure it cant pollinate any other plants in the process...even your neighbors! And clean your tent thoroughly afterwards..

Most sound advice is to destroy herms if you have other female plants....the second set of pics of “#1” dont seem to show any male flowers, so it looks good to be female so far. Equatorial sativa is what you have there, like the thai strains and WW bred from them, they are really prone to herm to perpetuate their genetic lines. Not a favorable trait for us the growers, but great for survival. FYI some of the strongest WW i ever smoked was a herm with seeds that happened late, week 6-7 and I only had a couple of other plants so i said “screw it” and grew IT out...seeds were all female plants and no herms btw

The third pic of your original post is male or it may be hermie Hard to tell if those are pistils. 3 weeks at 12/12.. They should be further along. Are you sure you don’t have light leaks?

so all are you saying that these 4 pics are from the same plant. This plant is looking male from the looks of the first pic.
Yes all these last 4 pics are from 1 plant this is same plant. It's the closest I have to looking like a female out of all 4. This pic Is plant #1 and is the best I could get of what I think is a preflower. 20200702_203049~2.jpg20200702_203049.jpg

This is the same plant at the next node

Oh definitely Hermie. Too bad! It looks like Sativa. Could have been interesting. My understanding is that seeds from hermies tend to hermie. I would cut it and hope for the others.

Please see my post above, i grew WW from herm seeds about 50 times and never had another herm. But i do agree, Equatorial salivas do that naturally and its in their genetic makeup, so a simple punnet square shows you’ve got about 50% chance of herms or females....but in reality it doesnt always grow out like that

I was reading something that to make fem seeds they use some silver stuff and force fems to hermie then either pollinating itself or another fem plant the seeds will come out feminized. Is this correct or are you saying plants that naturally turn hermie will mostly produce hermie seeds?
Excuse my noobness if I am not understanding correctly.

I have to add my little knowledge gained from my now second battle against Hermaphrodite plants. I have a Vivosun text 4'x4'x7'.
I didn't have anything setup right for complete darkness on my first attempt to switch over to Flowering phase. The light and my underwstering definitely caused my first terrible grow. Secondtime around I sat in the tent closed and lit up the room brighter than it will ever be any day. I found many "light leaking" problems that I still don't think I have fixed. The other thing is figuring out how much to water/feed the plants. I was definitely underwatering both first time and this time. About once a week. But it's something that I am learning thru practice
