Anyone ever water they’re plants with carbonated water or sparkling water I was looking it up for plants but little info on what it does to marijuana

Please do perform a side-by-side test. We'll then be able to determine whether it's a valid idea, or whether the idea will be added to the long running "Broscience" thread
My estimation is that the minimal nutrients in the water will not provide any benefit over the already-in-use nutrient regimen, and that the CO2 injection into the root mass is counter to the importance of an oxygenated root system.
Honestly don't know though... never thought of trying it.

Well it has a pH level between 3 and 4 is approximately in between apple juice and orange juice in acidity. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
I'll take one for the team here. I've got a half dozen clones that have rooted and need planting today, so I'll let a couple veg for a week or so, then test giving carbonated water for a feed and see what happens.

Best way to get answers is to do test with control, and you will see for yourself the answers ....or more questions will arise? Lol

I was surprised to read CO2 can be uptaken by the roots... there was a test using bicarbonate for a substrate. It has an own enzymatic process to make use of this, and some of the effect of Terra Preta soil may be explained by carbon enrichment. But how good your water for your grow is, can only an analysis show. There are considerable differences in these table waters, like unusuable EC 0.8 high in Na+, or "quiet" EC 0.05 water, but they all come at a price. So tap + RO seems most easiest

The claim is "carbonated water makes plants grow faster". Has to be sugar free and non flavored, and only to be used in moderation. Not straight Carbonated Water.

I drink quite a bit of plain Club Soda, so I'm thinking I'll use that in one of the pots. It's got Sodium and Potassium Citrate in it though, so I'll have to perform some EC and pH calculations first. Thankfully the clones were just planted earlier today, so I've got a week or two before I start the tests. I'll put all of this testing in the journal as well.
Any ideas on what specifically I should use in the other pot regarding carbonated water? I've got four clones (two I need to grow out normally) of the same strain, so it'll be a side by side with two test specimens and two control specimens.

No, but I've got plans to pick one up when I go to town tomorrow. I'm going to use it for this test, but also to eliminate my need to purchase more Club Soda.
