Vermont 2019

Welp, there you have it, harvested up for 2019. Got about 3 full five gal buckets of trimmed wet buds. Should be two or three pounds off the gth x r2p. I’ll update with a final weight and my final thoughts on these two geatawaymountain seed strains. So far I have been very pleased. Good mold resistance on both.

The rain and wind have been brutal here. My gauge says 2.7” rain since last night. And one side of my shelter finally ripped off its wooden supports. Oh well.

I just this week started pulling the Black Domina and did a mad rush last night. Leafier and more annoying to clip for the trimmer than Mtn Mist. It needed more time to reach density and yield of the Mtn Mist. Stickier though and a different consistency to the finger hash.

Got over 4 pounds from Mtn Mist and probably 2 from BD. There was still a decent amount on the plants, but most of it got wet and whipped by the wind and plastic. Crazy to think I’m actually ok at this point with losing some to the elements. It’s been a fantastic grow season. Very little mold on the plants—almost none on MM.

The finger hash is awesome, but no real smoke report yet.

I also am thinking of next year. I have some crosses a friend made with our old mighty freeze line from unleash da green.
Lime crumble x mf, biker Kush x mf, big worms’s icy hot x mf, and stray fox’s Triangle Kush x mf. Should be some killer stuff here but have to find a plant that is mom dominant as the mighty freeze Dad is a photo sensitive strain.

Also tempted to try more gear from getawaymountain, real gorilla seeds, bean hoarder stuff, ugh. Damn two plant limit.

Nice trunk! I was amazed digging mine up. Prolific roots.

My final numbers:

4.25 pounds Mountain Mist. Dense, dense, super dense nugs. Amazingly dense. Wow.
2.25 pounds Black Domina. Less dense-airy, more leaf. Awesome smell, earthy, cheesy. Love the smell.

Both are indica heavy/only indica. So far, they do what they’re suppossed to. Hit hard and heavy. BD especially causes the “I really do not want to move my body right now.”

The two pics below are of MM. One is hand dry and dry trim, the other bowl trimmer and rack dry. The trimmer def messes with the outer appearance , but shouldn’t affect the smoke much(I don’t think). In the end, the trimmer was a godsend for efficiency, and I hung dried enough for my personal stash. It all works out.

And yes the bowl trimmer was a god send. Never could have dealt with the mass of it wet or dry hand trimmed. I have to many other projects around the property to spend weeks and weeks trimming. It absolutely beats the outer trics to death but it was the tool for this sort of job.

I just put some big worm’s icy hot (star fighter bx x Pck)x mighty freeze in a paper towel! Want to find a pheno that will veg and not flower when I toss it out in late May. Not sure what my other plant will be yet.

That’s the plan, not sure if I’ll just sex and hope for the best or flower a few clones out and select. Sort of have limited indoor space though.

Anyone else get that good frost sat morning? I hit low 20's! Thought I was done, but letting them go longer. I had some wpm when we where getting all that rain. I sprayed baking soda and water on them and haven't seen any more. Last couple of days has been good.
How’s that spray work. Did you use it on buds
