How do you feel about fertilizer sticks?
First time grow, Plz help? Any advice?

Never used them. Someone else might chime in. I haven't seen anyone using them, so I would bet they're not adequate.

here is my 2 cents
NO to MG soil, No to fertilizer sticks. i grow with MG powder/liquid fert all of the time, and the only time i nuked a plant was 10 years ago...it was my first grow, and it survived. just remember that when it comes to the amount, less is more (as @JSB99 signature states), but ive also learned how to dial it in correctly. but of course, to each their own as we learn how to grow with the tools available. my fertilizer expenses are very low. as for the quality of my weed; it's strain/pheno dependent for quantity, size and taste. i always cure for min 4-6 weeks so mine are never harsh.
ALWAYS journal your grows, you can learn a ton and were you likely made a mistake.

Nope, no dumb questions here, but sometimes you'll run across some dumb answers LOL!
There will be directions on the side of the bottles. It'll show you a feed chart, which shows you the amount to add/gallon of water, and how much at each stage of the plant's life. Start a little light to see how your plants react. Different strains require different amounts, and no feed chart can determine exactly how much you should be adding. But you can tell by what your plants' leaves are showing. The GrowWeedEasy site has a really good problem guide which can really help you figure out what's going on.
You'll want to have a teaspoon and tablespoon, or you can get plastic medicine droppers, like for babies. Super cheap and available everywhere.

Haven't used it, but if it's from FF, it's bound to be decent.
