Plant was great yesterday, watered and fed yesterday, and now she is going to shit! Beginning of the 3rd week of flower! Same amount of of nutes that I have been useing from the start. Lotus grow nutrients.
Sure it's not sleeping? Was that pic taken right at lights on or right before lights out?Plant was great yesterday, watered and fed yesterday, and now she is going to shit! Beginning of the 3rd week of flower! Same amount of of nutes that I have been useing from the start. Lotus grow nutrients.
Do you switch out your water every couple weeks....empty reservoir....new water and nutes?Useing a bubbler bucket I just got for this grow. My ph is 5.7, and my ppm is at 1250. My water source is just tap water, but it’s never really been a problem.
Ouch, those look like they are going down the root rot road..Not sure if it’s the nutes that make it dirty, but the roots don’t stink
Definitely need a res change and probably some hydrogaurd. Do you know what your water temps are? If the temps get above 72f in the res your asking for issues. 66f-72f helps with keeping the bad bacteria at bayNot sure if it’s the nutes that make it dirty, but the roots don’t stink
Definitely not the issueMy power was out for a good 5 hours the other night, but the plant was fine the next day, could that of had something to do with it?
I change my wateDo you switch out your water every couple weeks....empty reservoir....new water and nutes?
Ppm is hard, as there are multiple scales used. There are websites that explain it more. Ec is much easier to gauge as its the same universal scale. Ppm seems high though, based on my ppm ec/ec meter. Im at about 700 ppm, and an ec of 1.4, ph of 5.8 for veg and 6.4 for flower.
FYI you have to hit reply to my last message for me to get notified, otherwise it will get lost and I won't notice. No worries I know your new here.
i change my water probably about every 4-5 days, plant was drinking a lot of water. I use the lotus grow chart and keep my ph between 5.5 -6.0, i also add the required amount of cal mag that it says on the bottle. My ppm is usually at 1250-1300 after I mix everything up. This happened on my second grow with a blue haze plant, Ended up chopping her down.Do you switch out your water every couple weeks....empty reservoir....new water and nutes?

Yep, there clear, it came with those hoses. I never thought of that. Wonder why a company that sells buckets don’t know that, Gonna buy some black hoses.I also noticed there is clear tubing going in to the bucket...is that an air line for air stone(s)?
You could have algae building up from light leaking through those tubes, which will lead to root rot.
Those roots do look like they are about to turn very nasty very soon.
As said above...res change and clean system completely...add some root protection nutes and cover the tubing or replace it with black...you dont want any light getting in.
I’m really not sure what my water temperature is, it seems like I change it so often that I really didn’t think to check it. Gonna get a temp reader, there’s so many different things too check lolDefinitely need a res change and probably some hydrogaurd. Do you know what your water temps are? They may get cheaper price which gives better markup for them.Yep, there clear, it came with those hoses. I never thought of that. Wonder why a company that sells buckets don’t know that, Gonna buy some black hoses.
Makes sense, just a pain in the ass for me lolThey may get cheaper price which gives better markup for them.![]()
Honestly I'd just put some tape around them. I use a reflective type of tape. Basically foil colored duct tape. I put that around any possible points light can come in. All hoses, seams, entry points, everything. Imo using black hose could cause a slight temp rise since black absorbs light and heat. You could probably get cooler temps by wraping your buckets and all with reflective tape.Yep, there clear, it came with those hoses. I never thought of that.
