Ive used FF trio with great success before I switched to organic. I follow their feed chart with the exception of the in between flushing, I never understood that part or why it was even necessary. I always fed .5 less than what the bottle recommended, for example, if the chart said 3 tsp of grow big, I fed 2.5. I never used the EC or PPM method, not that it doesn’t work because I’m rather confident that it does, I just never used it and I was ok. As far as difference in yields, I didn’t see a difference, it was pretty much the same. Only difference I can mention because I don’t medicate is from what my wife told me, which was the smoke was smoother organically.

I don’t necessarily buy into the marketing scheme myself, but new growers that aren’t exactly educated on what NPK ratios are, how and when to use them wouldn’t be doing themselves an unjust move by using them. Once they become familiar with the nutrients, and why you use them and when, it’s easier to discern what you need and don’t need.
