Looking for recommendations on a Soil PH Meter. I’m a little worried those prongs that need to be shoved into the soil will damage the roots and cause issues with the plant or even kill it. I’m growing my plants outdoors and they look pretty good, just the lower section of the plant is showing signs of stress but I don’t know what it is or what’s going on hence me trying to find a meter to check the PH of the soil first. Any recommendations and advice would be appreciated.

FYI. The middle pic looks like the start of Mg deficiency. Epsom has Mg.
Nutrients in the soil could be getting depleted...
I'm a coco guy, not skilled with soil.

Do you have a handheld meter to check the water runoff instead of the soil ?

I haven’t bought any meters yet, that does sound like a better option though. Is that what you use ?

I hate to say it, but if you want a reliable soil pH tester it won't be cheap. I finally got the BlueLab one to stop all the guesswork.

And runoff pH can be misleading.
