Canni butter

Hi I made canni butter I used 219g of fan leaves off my plants I'm growing to 3 blocks of butter it smells amazing but it's very dark green and has a really dark green bottom, am new to this and the site I will try and post a picture

Did you use the big fan leaves or the small sugar leaves from around the bud? Fan leaves have very little thc and lots of chlorophyll. The sugar leaves are the ones you want to use.

if you grind it up too fine before simmering it’s hard to filter out with cheesecloth.

Not sure how well butter washes compared to oil, but melt it down, add more water, and let the butter solidify. You can do this a couple times, at least with oil. It will take some of that green out and the taste of chlorophyll

That’s smart! I’ve never heard of that but, I’m gonna try it with my next batch of butter. I’m new to the site and I can’t figure out how to “like” posts or I’d do that instead of this long ass comment. Help me out? Lol
