So many growers get stuck in an "analysis paralysis" state. You get to a point where you're just analyzing too much and would gain more by doing.

Perhaps. People like myself also do not like wasting my time or resources so instead of half assing it I read and apply. Amazing how well things work out when you know what you're doing, and have lots of practical information to put to use and it works. I mean sure one could grab a light and seeds and just do it without any understanding of the basics like ventilation, watering/feeding, volume of light required for optimal growth, flavor, etc. Why bother arming yourself with information when you can just wing it and likely fuck it all up. Who cares about quality and yields right??

You're making a hell of an assumption if you consider the only alternative to over-analyzing is being under prepared. There is a very real middle ground where your own experience and practice is far more valuable than rollitpup.org.

Not to mention a lot of the information on this forum appears (to me) to be total BS repeated endlessly by people who have never grown anything.
The main focus being to sell you overpriced stuff you don't need.

Too each his own. However assuming I am over analyzing by simply reading for information and being able to discuss that with others as to optimal growth ranges for lighting, feeding, so on and so forth is analysis paralysis as you so eloquently put it is quite short sighted. Not everyone learns by doing but because you do everyone else must. Practical knowledge is much easier to apply if you actually have it. Mind me. Analyzing too much

I save myself the hassle by ANALYZING INFORMATION to make informed choices so as to not let someone or something make choices for me. But that is just me.

Just curious as to why you think this would be my ONLY SOURCE of information. Everyone knows or atleast should know to corroborate information along with experience and other peoples experiences in similar situations. Anyways I am sure we both have better things to do with our lives than debating opinions. Cheers.
