My 6inch filter won’t fit into my 6inch fan haha?

I have to run two of the 12x48 Phat filters in each flowering room as scrubbers. I have another one in the veg room and one in the drying room. I was super impressed with Phat filters, I figured they wouldn't last this long but after 7 years of running they still work.
You like the Phat filters the best? Im gonna be upgrading before next grow. And I'm not really worried about price.

Yeah if I unplug one of them then the odor starts to creep. As I remember they were about 90 pounds each.
That’s awesome, yeah that’s a lot of charcoal, sounds like a great investment @ 7 years, still going.

Has Phat changed their name? Are they now "Presh" or "Can filter".
Can is totally different. Phresh and Phat used to be one company and the partners split up. Now they both make the same design with the anti bypass cone in the bottom and quality carbon. I would go with either Phresh or Phat.

Their CFM charts have a single pass and multi pass rating. If you are doing single pass (exhaust) then make sure you go by that lower CFM number.

Right on, more carbon surface area equals better odor control. The key is not going over the CFM ratings, going under allows for more exposure time and even better function. Glad to see someone that "gets it"... lol
Yeah ive been attaching 8'' filters to my 6'' fans for a long time now. Shipping is CRAZY on these filters

Jesus considering the "freight shipping" cost at 150, i might as well spend the extra to get 10 or 12'' filters. only 60$ more to go up from 8'' to 10''.

when i was putting my room together i had a 4” mini filter hooked up to an 800cfm 8” fan with a bunch of reducers taped together lol. Thankfully I figured it out how stupid that was.

are you changing out the carbon on your filters or is it the same stuff from 7years ago?
