Plants thought on size and structure?

When fimming or topping and then spreading out a plant, plan for a max of 2.5x stretch and more likely 2x stretch max. It is very strain dependent.

Bigger veg plant means bigger flower plant means more yield...so grow it out and up until you can still confortably flower it. Lights can always be raised but at max...the plants cannot be lowered! Plan properly.

I think i have max 1.8 or so meters of growable height with lights at its highest and as you said bigger plants means bigger yields which is what i am going for. So grow them upto about 40cm ish then flip? Was hoping if all goes to plan to get 4oz+ per plants (6plants in a 9x4 room) with 1200w it seems doable

Cheers mate would you continue to keep vegging for more height or?
I might veg it another week see how she looks. Keep in mind the bigger she gets the more node management you need to do. Might be better off concentrating the plants finite energy toward less nodes to get better looking/bigger buds

Knowing what strain it is helps a lot to plan for stretch.

Are you sure you have 70inches of growable height...have you accounted for the lights and their distance to canopy? Pot height?

If you can fill that in we can target pretty good.

Sorry mate my bad! I am growing 4 critical and 2 cookies gelato, i have 43 inches of growable height with the max of 18 inches canopy from light i can go right upto 43 inches, that is why i am thinking to flip now allowing for a 2.5x max stretch

I think thats a good plan. Also having some height to spare is always nice if it works out that way.

So you think now is a good time to flip? What do you think on the plant structure etc? Im still new this is only my third grow but im hoping to get around 4oz per plant from 1200w hps in a 8x4 with 6 plants. Each plant has a good amount of room to grow into so hopefully they are big enough to pull them numbers

They look great. With 5+sqft per they should bush out into beasts. I have manifolded into 4sqft per plant and never had one less than 5 so far. In your space 8 or 12 or 16 per is possible, but depends upon a lot of variables.
