Does anyone know what these patches are on my leaves?they look a gold colour.. they're autoflowers, 27 days old,I'm growing in coco, feeding everyday with PH between 5.8-6.2 an EC at 1.6, using general hydroponics flora micro, grow, bloom (all at half they're recommended dose) + calmag

hard to see what's wrong I don't think it is major for the moment but definitely keep an eye on it
It's all on the older growth it's never on the new top growth,I cant tell that it's getting worse, which is a good thing I guess.the only thing I can think of is maybe because I'm using calmag with tap on water?the water comes out the tap at 0.4 EC an I give half strength nutrients to make it up to 1.6 EC so I'm not overfeeding them an I pH the water too 5.8-6.2

Also tested the run off
i dont think tap water has anything to do with that. maybe lower your nutrients and add more calmag
I mean because I'm using calmag with tap water which already contains calcium+magnesium..so thought they might of been getting too much?I don't think it's the nutrients as it happened when they was 1/4 strength nutrients..I've increased the nutrients..since an it hasn't made it any worse

It might just be me but I found lowering the General Hydroponics feeding from 1/2 to 1/3 strength or a little less seems to give better results. It is always easier to give a plant more if it needs it than trying to deal with damage from too much.

I agree with @Doug Dawson. I'm seeing a bit of tip and edge burning so I'd skip a feed or lower the amount by a third or half. Other than that it all looks good.

What's the ppm of your tap water? You can get a report from your supplier almost everywhere for free and that will tell you exactly what's in it. Some tap water should not be used for your plants and is borderline for using inside you too but still falls inside gov't guidelines. High sodium, iron and all sorts of crap make a lot of tap water near toxic. I buy RO water for our drinking and my indoor plants as our tap water comes from a dugout on my property and is pH 8+ and 400ppm. Town water is much the same but they add chlorine to it so it's 'safe' to drink but I ain't drinking it. lol

Here is my 1 current plant using about 1/3 strength flora series and she is pretty happy. I think the phrase less is more makes sense.
