I used advanced nutrients, I always have though since before they were pH perfect. I find they are easy to use and I get great quality. I am uncertain how much if any better they are than anything else other than the ease of ph always being right. I think I've just found the right combo for me as I only use 2 additives from the line.
I have been seeing a lot of good things about
@Useful Seeds I have yet to grow any out but he is a sponsor here and I plan to order some when I can.
I took a break from growing for a while and when I came back I too ordered some of the old school seeds I had grown before. Northern lights from Nirvana, hashberry from Mandala. And some other old school strains. The hashberry was a total disappointment as I grew a lot of those in the past and didn't find a pheno of anything even close to the ones I used to find. The northern lights was good but I only kept it a couple runs. I like a lot of the newer stuff.
Just beware there are lots of herms in genetics now. Some of those old school strains you barely ever had any, now they can be in any pack you run especially if it's a gsc descendant or cross. But if you do find a keeper it will help you realize how much weed has advanced while you were gone. Atleast it did me. Some shit is just amazing and worth watching for herms to find a good mom.
EDIT: I've found just as many or more herms in regular seeds as I have feminized. And I've run a bunch of seeds of both.
