A first time UK grower could use your help

I wish the UK has an acclimatised land-race, I don't see why not. I've been researching into cannabis, the more I learn the more I'm shocked at how it's still illegal. It's down right ridiculous. Stigma is so strong with the ignorant, arrogant and stubborn. Why are they allowed to dictate peoples lives?

Cheapest way to grow indoors is invest in a quality LED light, more lumens for less watts, but ya gotta steer clear of cheap lights

whats the minimum recommended lumens/watts for an autoflower? Sorry if it's a stupid question, would just like to know where I could start

I mean, it's possible. With the right minds it could be dispersed across England mainly, since it's warmer than northern regions such as Scotland. If enough brains and research is put into it, England could be infested with a landrace species of cannabis.

I would love to do indoors, as I do have seeds spare. However, I don't wish to rack up my electricity bill for grow lights. You know of a cheap way of growing indoors? Would love to look into it. I mainly smoke to relieve me of my depression and anxiety, it's proved to be incredibly effective, better than pharmaceutical drugs. I'd like to keep smoking for as long as it keeps my inner demons away.

a 315cmh or 300w LED (proper one) in a 3ftx3ft tent would only cost between 75p-£1.20 a day in veg and less in flower assuming photoperiod seeds and not autos.

As far as LEDs go you want to avoid 90% of amazon lights, or lights made from red and blue diodes and stick to white light.

You can even do it with household LED bulbs. As many have on here.

Maybe look at something like hlg100 for 2x2 tent.

U can get a nice starter set up. For around 189.00.with hid.. Filter. Carbon filter. And fixing.. Iam using a 2x2x5. With a marshydro. 48. 300w..4"extactor.6"fan..temps in the day are a steady 74..76.8.and at nyt. Around 68.71..pH 6.2..cost me 220.all in well worth the money and runs on penny's tbh. Not really noticed. Much change in electricity.. Just a thought for u.. U will get better results and a regular amount.. Gl in what ever u do..

I agree stick to a branded LED. A. Lot of scammers. But as this post says u can make your own with little lay out

Online is confusing. 90s.u can buy a 1200w.full spec for 50 00.and be a waste of time and bloody dangerous 2.i find quality from a known name n supplier.. I use marshydro. But there are so many.. LED.. CFL.. Are the option to go for.. Safety 1st.. But enjoy which ever option u choose.gl

Don’t know what you’d doing wrong but check out @cheetah2007 grow journal in the uk outdoors in a pot. Can be done easily. Mine are in the ground no nutrients and are a lot bigger. So somethings wrong. These all autos in the uk. Scotland. Been cold here, all the strains with afgan doing best I’d say.

I don't think I damaged the roots. As an avid gardener myself, I'm accustomed to taking extreme care when moving plants between pots. However, with cannabis being completely new grounds for me, different plant species/family and all, I have no idea whether or not my strain is simply doing its thang or there's something I'm missing. Followed all the guidelines thus far, even gave it a mini greenhouse and a large enough pot.

I normally grow Photoperiod strains, but I have friends who grow Autos indoors and outdoors. I don't think you necessarily damaged the roots, but from what ive been told Autoflowers/Ruderalis Strains just don't like to be transplanted at all and that transplanting can actually stunt growth whether you damage the roots or not. Best to start them off in the pot that they'll finish in and because they don't generally grow too big you'll only need an 11litre to 15litre size pot max. Hope this helps mate

They can be transplanted but you have to be extra gentle. I have also heard it's the tap root that dictates this. And out of the handful I have grown, the one where the roots hit the bottom of the pot was the one I had that did stay small. But I don't know for certan that was the case......that's why I suggest to ask the people that know more about autos.

Also I totally agree, for a cheap 1 or 2 plant grow you can't beat Cfl. This is my mates most recent Cfl grow. 3 small Photoperiod Berry Bombs under a 250w Blue Cfl. He'll be adding a Red Cfl in for his next grow. I use a Blue one for cuttings and veg, I only have a small veg area. Cfl's are cheap as chips to buy and run, plus hardly any heat issues.
