I think he could have handled it better. We went from 13k plus cases in june, to over 70k less than a month later. We had over 1000 deaths in one day

I'm not saying all the deaths were hoax but they were overblown. Most people that died would of died from the common flu anyway like elderly and immuncomprised people do every year. It's been admitted that they are counting anyone who dies from other means like car accidents, shootings, etc.. It was just on the local news that people are being told their postive when they never took the test. The test also give false postives because it detects the whole corna virus family not just 19 version. And no I do not support qanon! I would disagree. A death is a death, its an absolute. However I do realize that data was inaccurate at times. I don't feel that's reason enough to say its a over blown subject. The virus came out of nowhere, spreads with ease, incubation period of 2 weeks and to top that off. We have asymptomatic victims who were sick, and didn't know it. Im honestly surprised they can track it as accurately as they do. Something had to make you come to this conclusion, what on earth could be more believable than the CDC and DHEC? That's an honest question, Im not trolling. Every test we administered last week came to around 5000 plus in my state. 21% of those tests popped positive. How else can you explain over 1000 deaths in a day? Mobile morgues, the lock downs hurting the economy. Ill agree is saying the data was inaccurate, but i dont think thats reason enough to ignore the CDC.

A hundred forty thousand dead and the idiot is still using the flu analogy. Republicans are still trying to gaslight an epidemic. Trump has tried to do that off and on since the beginning of the year. How has it working for him? It's a false choice -- locking down or saving the economy. The facts, just like the science behind medical expert advice for how to deal with the virus are immutable. A healthy economy depends on getting the virus under control. The lockdowns did just that and then the kind of idiot that you just answered got the country to just ignore medical advice and here we are, more dead and the economy still down and out. Other countries are in great shape because they took the right steps and we did not.
So I just tell them to stop gaslighting us. You can't gaslight an epidemic. Doing so got us where we are today.

Why would anyone fear the Scottish army? At least why more than any other army? Scottish commandos will probably be good, but not much better than the SAS, SBS, Royal Marines. In addition, in a modern conflict there are more dangerous things than commandos. Quite a few Taliban have been killed by unmanned drones. Hackers can shut down a military HQ, power plants, factories, etc. in no time, so good luck with commandos then.
I am under the impression that you are a bit stuck in your own cocoon and that you mainly inform yourself via the internet.
The internet is nice to look up things about plants, porn, the weather tomorrow, etc, but there is so much nonsense on it.
And internet can easily confirm prejudices because there is an 'expert' for every nonsensical theory. There are also flat earthers who get their info from there and they also say 'google it yourself and you will see that the media is wrong'.
But when love turns into blind adoration, you no longer see things as they are. Scotland is nothing more than a very average country in Europe. They will most likely be welcomed by the other European Member States. But Scotland doesn't really have much to offer if you're honest. Apart from the production of whiskey, fisheries and tourism, it has no significant industries. Maybe the Bank of Scotland, but that's it. Maybe I missed a few more. But when funding from the UK stops, a lot of things in Scotland will collaps, simply because they don't have the economic resources.
One last thing:
You blame the English for everything that is wrong in the life of the Scottish.
But when Black people blame everything that is wrong in their life on White people, you call them names.

Your missing the point. We don't want to be a massive exporter or a global superpower. We want to be self sufficient and self sustained which we are more than capable of doing.
We already have more than unlimited free electricity.
We have unlimited water of almost pure quality at 48ppm which the English will have to pay us for shortly if we leave the union.
They'll also have to stop hiding 90% of our oil revenue in their banks as "undisclosed income"
Our govornment funding will literally double over night. As it currently stands 40% of the govornments total income goes directly to Westminster and 20% to the eu. The latter were happy to pay. The former, as I said, would literally exactly double our govornments funding over night.
The trade we do have is more than enough to sustain our economy and the things we'd be able to trade afterwards which we currently cant would more than make up for any short commings.
It's also about immigration. We need legal immigration here to fill in skilled and unskilled job roles. Leaving the eu forces us into a position of surrender where we can no longer legally fill these positions so will have to rely on English bailouts.
We're not racist here, we need foreigners to run our country and were absolutely 100% aware of that fact.
Because of all this were doing things to better the situation. We're doing it peacefully, respectfully and most importantly were doing it legally and through the courts.
We aren't rioting and burning down our streets.
We're doing it the right way so that we at least have a shot at it instead of trying to create a war.
If we start a war we will lose.
And that is my opinion of what the blacks are currently doing. They're starting a war.
A war where they're the minority so will ultimately lose.
If they really wanted change then they would be taking positive steps towards it.
Instead they're just shouting all white men are racist as loud as they can and hoping it eventually sticks.
White people simply aren't gonna accept that and rightfully so.
So what's gonna happen?
Yup, more and more white people will become more and more racist.
The problem gets worse.
They shout a little louder cos now they think that's proved the point and all that does is make it worse again.
Why, when trying to get the point across of racial discrimination would you want to turn the majority race in question against You?
That's like us burning down London in the hope that it will make borris like us more.

I treat folks how I want to be treated. I try , to not get roped into conspiracy theories. I believe to make and hope I make someone think rationally by staying level headed. I personally feel people have lost or avoid having their way of thinking challenged. I think that is how we learn. Instead of being spoon fed lies, opinions, and having their opinion reinforced. The hope is to inspire them to think for themselves. Challenge them and educate. I have my moments where I lose it. Especially if its something very outlandish. We're so polarized now days because of constant bombardment of different views. Some are absolutely pure fantasy, yet people eat it up. Just because the data is not accurate, doesn't mean its a ploy. Its called errors, and not having all the information needed to be more accurate. This is not a flu virus. Why one would compare it to the flu is beyond me. You don't compare fatal cancer cases to gun shot victims. Why compare this to the flu? Its because people feel they understand the flu a little more and Im guessing it gives them a sense of control, I can only guess, but its comparing apples to oranges. We cant compare this virus to anything else, because it is unique. If things keep getting worse, I am gonna start treating people who arent safe as threats, if they get too close. My Mom is in her 80s and I will not risk getting her sick over something as ignorant as the political stance argument.
