Now I feel embarrassed with mine. Finding a seed in street weed must be like a bonus gift. I hope mine grows like crazy one week.I have a plant in a solo cup thst i got the seed from some street weed and i thought it was sad lol. I test nutrient combinations on it. And practice lst, and topping. its about 7 inches tall in 30 plus days from seed
Is it in a big pot? If so, it'll take off eventuallyNow I feel embarrassed with mine. Finding a seed in street weed must be like a bonus gift. I hope mine grows like crazy one week.
Yes it's in a big pot, I'm anticipating crazy growth soon. It's only just started to grow more this week.Is it in a big pot? If so, it'll take off eventually
coco. Will take your advise, thanks Will wait and see after a few weeks.Dont over care for it. Growing in coco? Or soil? After it gets bigger be sure when you water it, that you get some run off from the bottom of the pot. this keeps salts from building up around the roots. If its in a 5 gallon pot, you want a liter of run off
I fed her once... I thought I wasn't allowed to feed a seedling. I'm so confused lolCoco needs water/nutes daily with 1/4 strength nutes
You feeding her every day
I have no idea what I'm doing. I think the penny is starting to drop.Nobody should be using a 5 gal for coco. This is a 2 liter pop bottle grow in coco. Have been neglected feeding wise, but topped and 2 liter bottles of coco are not at fault of these. 2 to 3 gal is all that's neeses for coco and the smaller the better depending on how often you stay disiplined to feed.
You're good, bit that's the point of coco. You don't need as much root space as soil because coco dries out faster and can be watered multiple times a day. The guy above is right on a few things. Coco shouldn't dry out. The smaller the pots the faster it dries. Salts build up and can lockout nutrients if this happens. 1 to 2x a day no matter ehat size is good. Also since coco has no nutes it needs nute every time it gets watered. You can and sgould feed nutes in coco from day 1. I don't papertowl or soak seeds in water before planting. I fill my pots with coco and water it with 2 ml cal mag and 1/4 my regular feed the night before i plant seed. Usually do this evey 4 to 5 days for 3 to 4 waterings. Once she is about 2 weeks i go to 1/2 strength and by week 3 full strength. Just gotta make sure they never dry out. Coco is great.I have no idea what I'm doing. I think the penny is starting to drop.
Bob's right mate. Quarter strength nutes. Feed every day to run off. Not much else to it really.I fed her once... I thought I wasn't allowed to feed a seedling. I'm so confused lol
Don't need to know what you're doing mate. That's the beauty of coco.I have no idea what I'm doing. I think the penny is starting to drop.
This. I have been treating it like soil. I had no idea! Thank you for this info, much appreciatedDon't need to know what you're doing mate. That's the beauty of coco.
Just feed week and often and it's honestly extremely hard to go wrong.
All the associated dramas you see come from people iether treating it like soil or just over complicating things.
Keep it simple and it works about as well as it can.
You're right. I've been treating it as soil. I feel like I've wasted 4 weeks. 4 valuable weeks because I live in the northern hemisphere and cold autumn's approaching. Better get feeding her! You're good, bit that's the point of coco. You don't need as much root space as soil because coco dries out faster and can be watered multiple times a day.
