Turning closet into grow room

I recently run out of space in my grow tent .have to turn closet into one .now do I have to insulate the walls before I put my mylar reflective sheets over it or can I just put cardboard and then the reflective material anybody have any experience with this please let me know what should I do

You dont have to insulate walls of closet unless you want to seal the closet from any other room?

But I'd want a sealed closet to keep out pests.

There are 2X4X5 grow tents made to go into closets if that is a way you want to go. It makes life easier and they are not expensive.

It looks pretty sealed as it is there's a little hole on the bottom where mice come in and I know this for sure cuz mice poop I just cleaned out yeah gross but I'm going to stuff it with aluminum foil and put my straps around other than that I don't think any bugs would be in there it's going to have to do it for now I have seedlings that got too big for my little tent
