Does anyone on this planet actually use the full BioCanna line?

Hello there, organic growers.

I've been looking for information on BioCanna for a long time and NEVER find anything. I haven't found a single grow in countless searches with the BioCanna system exclusively (i.e.: Bioterra soil, BioCanna nutes exclusively, no third party additives).

Every grow I've seen using BioCanna involves using a whole bunch of external products, compost teas, dolomite lime, ferts from other companies, a long list of additives, etc. Basically, in all of the grows I've seen that used BioCanna, you could pretty much remove the BioCanna and get the same result. It was almost used as an additive instead of a main fertilizer.

I even tried to look at "regular" horticulture sites. Nobody seems to have used it for anything. Not for tomatoes, peppers, flowers, nothing.

The only two pieces of consistent information about this line are as follows: BioTerra is full of fungus gnats, and the BioCanna line makes the best tasting weed ever.

The BioCanna site is so completely devoid of information that it almost looks like a scam site. They even make some ridiculous claim about it not risking to carry Avian flu (seriously, WTF? Why not AIDS while you're at it?). I also don't like how Canna seems to want to distance itself from BioCanna. You can't find BioCanna on Canna's Web site. You have to go to a separate one. Why would they do that?

The only conclusion I can come to is that it's simply not a complete system and that it simply can't work on its own, and that it's not even worth trying. I'd love for such a system to exist, but if I have to start making earthworn castings tea and all kinds of shit in my condo, it's just not worth my trouble.

Is my conclusion correct? I'd love to give it a try, but with NOTHING to even suggest it works, I'm not spending 200$ on the full line.

I know this is a bit old bit I have used the full line solely for all my grows (I'm on my 4th) and they're brilliant in my limited experience. I have hard water (7.0 ish) and I never pH as instructed by the manufacturer, and I have a less than ideal setup and I ALWAYS struggle with high temperatures and getting my VPD in check. I got a pH pen just out of curiosity and the nutes pH down automatically to 6.5. so no need to pH. Anyway, that said I got 7.5 and 7.8 g/pw my last two runs so considering that I'm a movie and my environment isn't really up to scratch I'd say worth the money all day every day.

That said I have had issues with fungus gnats but this time none at all, so I think they my well have that sorted.

What I did notice first time round is that if you're vegging for only 3/4 weeks you definitely don't need the vega because the soil has plenty nutrition for that space of time... In fact I learned about N toxicity for the first time because of that lol.

Friends of mine that have smoked with me always say "it's a nice smoke" and "it's not at all harsh...". It's idiot proof... I would imagine you'd have to do something majorly wrong to fuck up with it.

I use a hodgepodge of what i feel is the best product from different manufacturers.

I use biocanna.
Do this, trust me:
Sprout in promix/worm mix casting in solo cup.
Water [my RO comes out 6.0 so I don’t touch the ph] with heavy biorhizotonic (no Vega yet).
After a few sets of leaves put in new pot in ocean forest with a dose of mychorraize/root zone and run 3-4 weeks until it uses up the ocean forest “nutes”. [again my water comes out the RO at 6.0 so I don’t touch it (ocean forest buffers good enough for a few weeks anyway).
After a few weeks in the ocean forest, Top dress castings/compost and give a nice compost tea.
Give plain water after after tea.
At this point start BioVega every 3rd water until about week 3 in flower.
Give compost/nutrient tea at week 3 with P focus.
Start BioFlores and Boost per BioCanna schedule until the end.
I only use the Bio Rhizo in the solo cups.
Water with Aloe once every couple weeks during veg.
Water with Coconut once every couple weeks during flower.
Foilar with silica once early/mid flower and add sprouted malt (barley) to top dresses every couple weeks.
Foilar comfrey couple times in veg while in fox farm.
If you get fungus nats and they bother you, water with neem every 4th water.

I run 10-15 gal fabric pots and water average a half gallon every other day to keep even moisture working in that system.

Also, i swear by RO with this system. Too much swing and imbalance with tap water, but it can be done... Add organic CalMg as needed once the ocean forest is used up.

I've been really lucky with my tap water... I've been checking it with my ph pen for over two years now and it's never higher that 7.1 and never lower than 6.9.. anyway if you read the biocanna feeding chart schedule it says no need to pH unless you have really hard water above 7.5. they've done a bang up job making it fool proof... Anyway I use the full line and it's not let me down... Yeah it's expensive but for me it's worth the money. I just do as they say and the results speak for themselves.

That said... You seem to be adding a few other products to the canna stuff... I added something extra this time round and ended up with REEEALY dark green leaves... A few of them even clawed a bit.... I suspect that's down to me fuckin with their recipe and not mixing the soil and breaking down the lumps..... Next time round I'm going to pour all the bags out and mix it all properly and then just do as they say... Like I did the 1st time... Which coincidentally was the best in terms of quality... I'd say that if you're like me and not looking to maximize yeild and you're just looking for a trouble free, easy grow to get some tasty weed for personal.... And you want to be sure you're getting organic green too... Go full biocanna line and do as they say. I don't grow to make money I grow because I want organic (or as close as possible) and I want easy growing.... Now advanced nutrients do the same but they're just copying lol

I no longer use any full line. I use living soil and supplement with BioCanna as needed

This is super old but I stumbled on it looking at my history and thought I'd update in case anyone is looking for info on Biocanna.

I decided to just take the chance two years ago. I now only use the BioCanna line. It works fantastic. I never ph.

You need Cannazym for it work as best as it can (full dose all the way). You need some kind of root inoculant in your soil. The soil you use has to be Ph balanced pretty low. Very airy peat based mixes with micorrhizae work fantastic. Coco doesn't work so good (always problems in flowering). I don't care about organics at all, I just wanted the easiest possible system.

This is the easiest growing system there is. It's so stupidly easy. I throw stuff in the water, I water. Every two weeks, I water to get a bit of runoff, about 10%, just in case. So I have virtually nothing to clean up, ever. I don't even use a full bottle of vega or flores per grow (1000W in a 5x5, two big sativas or four small indicas). I systematically get 0.7 to 0.85 gpw. It won't burn even the most sensitive sativas. I've grown landraces with no problem. Failed on 15 out of 15 seeds trying with various other systems through the years.

I've tried DWC, RDWC, aeroponics, coco, dirt, no-till and supersoil. I've tried GHO, Advanced and other Canna lines. Nothing else is this easy.

Oh, and a really effective trick: you need to water the soil at least two weeks before using it and keep it moist, adding rhizo, cannazym and a bit of vega. You'll get a really stable soil with a really strong bacterial population.

Which médium are you using ? Bioterra ?

Hi. I'm running biocanna line soil and nutes too!! I'm in flower but I've noted some phosphorus def and salt bild up at the bottom of the pot...so i bought a monster bloom from grotek... question is do I flush it let it dry and add normal feeding plus the monster bloom.. or just keep feeding without flush??
