We could go round in circles here.
A cut of a good cannabis plant is a cut of a good cannabis plant, and that's all there is to it. If the price is relative to the quality of the product, no cut on earth is worth thousands of times more than another from a keeper quality plant. This is a simple argument here. Of course you can justify spending any amount of money based on the profit, but that is not relevant to the initial point, which based on the quality of the end product. If a commercial seller wants to spend a 10k on a cut it doesn't mean the cut is worth the money. At that point you are talking finances and then I wouldn't argue that it's not worth it, because the outlay is insignificant .
But the core point remains the same: Paying thousands for cannabis cuts is the same as paying thousands for anything else which is of no significantly higher quality than a much cheaper equivalent. It's born out of the superficiality of the culture and how brand driven people are nowadays. Yes it makes money, and yes it's stupid. The two things can and very often do co exist.
