Pruning during flowering

Hey I’m wondering how much I should prune I’m about half way thru flowering rn. If I should even be doing it at all. I pruned a few older leaves off but I was like wait a second Idk wtf I’m doing haha

Pruning and defoliation are two separate things. A lot of folks defoliate around week 3 in flower once all the stretch is done and then again before harvest. If you prune branches during flowrr you will just lose that amount of bud. Prune during veg and force growth upwards before you flip to take advantage of removing larf.

I clean up the bottoms of my plants (the part that doesnt get any light) otherwise i leave the leaves alone until the end of flower. At the end of flower when a lot of the fan leaves are dead/almost dead, i remove those ones.
