To transplant or Test 1gallon?

So I currently have 4 cubic feet of medium ready for transplant.

And I have 4 remaining plants after I’ve cut the males. I’ve kind of used the other containers for some LST.

I’m debating if I should just have fun and see what I can do in 1g.

Should I keep one in a small container just for shits and giggles ? Or just transplant and go for yield.

I do like the idea of a “test” though.

I did the 1 gal grow once, won’t be doing that again. Yield was terrible. Quality was good, but it’s not like they finish any faster vs using a larger pot. If you gonna invest the time to finish, might as well get the bang for your buck.

ill second that. you are also going to run out of juice a lot faster in the 1 gal so not only do you have to water it more often, it also needs more nutes and attention. but always worth trying so you can see what works best for your groww style. i used 2 gal for flower flr last year but just bought some 3 gal grow bags for my next run. 2 gal can work but some strains feed heavy and then back to top dress/feeding to keep them happy. hoping 3 gal will be my sweet spot for getting to a water only grow.
