people need to understand google works wonders... type in cfl harvest or seomthing along those lines, I have came across lots of people who do there complete grow with cfls and the grow journals you come across wil give you an idea how many 42 cfls will give you, and space,

I'm about to try a 23w CFL on 3 sativas. Just waiting for the lights to come on before I pot up this 3rd clone and I got another I'm waiting to see roots on. I hope to have 4 plants around 1 23w CFL.

^^^ your going to have some pathetic plants with one 23 watt CFL just to let you know. For four sativas i would get about 16 of them personally.

first no one has to reply to your thread....okay 43 watters are pretty expensive...get 2-3 23 watt 6k color for veg....for flower you will need about 3 42 watt 3k bulbs. this is for one plant

Flowering 5 inch seedlings is way different than flowering 5 inch clones. Things get easier once you find a good mother-plant. ;-)

i have one plant under 1 150 watt hps 4 42 watt 2700k cfl and 10 23 2700k cfl and i could still use more lol, 3 month veg tho its about 2 1/2 half feet tall and 3 feet wide lst plus topping its mainly indica bagseed

how maney 42 watt CFL do i need for 1 small plant?

If you are growing one small plant 3 42 watts kept at about 2-3 inches away from top foliage should be enough to get you thru both vegetative and flowering expecially if you build a lil 1x1x(3 to 4) box with reflective walls on the inside((definitly do not use aluminum foil as a reflective surface do to hot spots and lac of reflective traits)) you definitly will need a lil extraction fan ((probably an old computer fan attatched to an old cellphone charge should be enough)) and cover up any light leaks then let the growing take place. each fourty two what gives about 2700 lumens between the three you get 8100 lumens and they cover about a 24inch radius... so keep your plant small ((between 9inches and a foot before starting 12on 12off because your plant will nearly double durings flowering and even tripple with sative strains)) if you want some tight dense nugs to toke on.
on a side note technically a plant can survive on about 1500-1700 lumens thru flowering but it would be way worth your time to bump it up to to 8100lumens with the three 42 watts for a nice supply of dense Medication.
