I recently started a post on "How to Recharge your Boveda packs" to which I found out about Boost, so I decided to give them a whirl.

Boost was a better price and I like how each one comes individually wrapped in good quality plastic.

The physical size is different, as the Boveda 4 grams packs fit perfectly in the lid of the mason jar, the Boost are more of a rectangle shape.

I noticed the exterior envelopes are different, as the Boveda is basic paper whereas the Boost is less pores, more like a high quality magazine paper (referred to as glossy paper), which could explain why it's slower to react.

I was able to recharge the Boveda packs quite effectively with little effort, but I question if the Boost packs would be able to recharge the same way.

I just recently put my crop into mason jars with Boost packs, but I'm going to swap out half of them with Boveda packs so I can do a proper comparison and will report back my point of view.

Right. Boveda packs you can put in a bag/jar, add a spritz of water, wait a day or so, and boom they are charged up like new. I dont think the Integras will recharge so easily; your dead on about them having a smoother paper where the bovedas almost feel like a super dense but thin cloth. I imagine placing an Integra pack in a wet towel for a few days would at least put some charge into it but how much? who knows. Or maybe you can fully submerge them in water and they charge up faster? Trust me... I will be experimenting.

I had to select... what is a humidity pack? Because their was no option for "neither" as I have never understood the need for them. I have some weed in jars that have been in there for nearly 3 years and the RH is still at where I set em when I stored them! Seriously, why? Yeah, I get that traditional cigar humidors breathe, so that's why they were made, but jars don't, so it makes no sense to me!
Because it gets down to 15% humidity where I live

finally somebody that's not a flat-lander! lol. have you found indicas do better up here than sativas? i haven't done many sativa dominants but indicas seem to like the high elevation better. your thoughts??
In Tahoe we called them flat-landers too, lol.

I'm not sure, but that's would make sense. I mostly grow hybrids. Some strains tend to throw nanners more easily and I'm starting to think it's the low humidity. I have NO light leaks. Its pitch black in there. It's 13% and 15% in my grow rooms right now. Last week it was humid and got up to like 32%, lol.

Clone only Green Crack and clone only Chem 91. I think the really low RH makes them more susceptible to throwing nanners though. My Green Crack never throws nanners, but Sunset Sherbert was bad about it, and I'm guessing the stress from the low RH wasn't helping anything.

It's reading less than 10% right now. It says "LL", lol.

Ive found it does bring a lot of the smell back but it is slightly changed and i dont know how to describe it. The smoke however seems to taste pretty much the same.
I know what you mean I had rock hard buds with no smell Im chalking it up to grower error
