I'm reminded of this:
You are not wrong to notice about a dozen self-help-y stories of middle-aged schlubs going into training.
nymag.com
“I had tossed this idea around for years, realizing with each passing birthday that my chances of success were dimming,” the 42-year-old wrote
“It can be done,” his piece concludes in triumph. “You can enjoy what if feels like to dunk.”
But I’m here to tell you that’s a lie. McKnight never really reached his goal, and neither have any of the other middle-aged white guys who set out on this same journey in recent years.
I see it (sorry, post-coronavirus, saw it) all the time at the courts at my workout center. Old white guys hurting themselves trying to do what they couldn't do even when they were young. Sprained ankles, pulled muscles, knee injuries, all because they couldn't really jump and never could. It would be admirable if they weren't assholes on the court because they turn their failure into anger. Try being human. Try being likable. Instead they make asses of themselves and live in delusion, all the while pushing people away. Including women. That's how INCELs come to be.
