Safe and effective vaccines take 10-15 years!

Anyone else think that a safe vaccine for covid-19 was going to be out by the end of this year?

I had no idea it took 10-15 years to create a safe and effective vaccine.

There is also no SARS or MERS vaccine, even those viruses came out 8+ years ago.

Do you think the government is giving the 12-18 month scenario so people don't panic? Apparently the virus mutated from D to G and might mutate again. Making it even harder to create a vaccine in a short amount of time.

Covid needs a name change. Its not a respiratory illness, its a blood disorder.

Fast tracked and lots of extra $$ I think 2-3 yrs is reasonable (im talking fast track the processes. NOT fast track the safety parts like trials etc)

They might be able to make a vaccine in a month, that is both effective and safe. However it takes years to prove that the vaccine is safe, or perhaps to figure out that it is not.

But which one is more safer, taking a vaccine that is not properly tested, or getting covid? Well thats impossible to say, but if i had to guess, in countries which did not do anything proper to combat this(like USA), it would likely be a better idea to take the vaccine. But countries with not many cases anymore, well i dont se much point of vaccine unless you have conditions that make covid extra dangerous.

I have theorised for a while that the reason why trump wants everyone to get covid and it to spread around all the time like a wildfire is because he wants everyone to get vaccinated. It could be that he just dont want to make it seem as if it would be the "stupid actions" of other people that cause all this harm around the world, not what he does. Like if schools get closed because of covid, he can then say that "i did not want to close the schools and we lost money because we closed the schools, it was the other guys who wanted us to lose money, not me". Its also a handy political tool, like with the trumpsters who refuse to wear a mask. This mask thing has been made into a thing where people react to it as if it were some worst imaginable oppression of people. Why? Because they act based purely on emotions and their emotional responses have been manipulated and the emotion is so strong that they become blind to logic and reason, only starting to reason and use logic to support their emotional responses.

i said they might be able to, not that they are able to for sure. There is a huge difference. Also i was talking in general when making vaccines. They might luck out really fast with some cases, but confirming that they found effective and safe will take longer.

The pistils will recede more, the calyxs will swell more, and they would be fatter.

Here's a clone only Pura Vida about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks before chop. Notice the swollen calyxs? You can't go by breeders times. It usually takes at least a couple more weeks than they say. So an 8 week strain doesn't get chopped until at least 10 weeks. The healthier they are the faster they can mature also. So if you abused it it will take even longer.
