Sweet i fugured as much containing the part on perlite. You were a big help. Just to recap.

I can mix with NLS add perlite. No nutes or fertilizer(gaia green) just top with EWC.
How often would i top with EWC?

Yes to fertilizer; I like to use chicken manure; a handful in each pot, but cow manure or guano will work too. Top dress with EWC 2-3 weeks after each progressive transplant to a larger container. DM me if you need help.

My setup by the way
5x5 Gorrila grow tent
E720 growers choice led light
I want to use 7 gallon pots about 4 maybe 5 plants MAX. use solo cups for seedling then tranplant in 7 gallon all the way to harvest i want organic grow i heard coco coir was the way to go.

Start with solos, then go to a 2-3 gal if you can for mid veg. Put your plants in the 7gal a week or two before you flip to final bloom phase. One other thing that might help for bloom phase is Jobes organic spikes. You just push them into the soil & they feed for 8 weeks. I put two into each bloom pot. Not required but really helps push bigger flowers. They are cheap too, $8 for a 50pk.

Should i buffer the coco coir you suggest

Just mix it in with your base soil. If you are worried about ph buffering add a handful or two of crushed oyster shell (flour) to the mix.

Making your own potting soil:
Ingredients:
5 gallons sphagnum peat moss or coir fiber (preferred)
3 gallons perlite or rice husks
5 gallons compost or earthworm castings (preferred)
1 pound Nature’s Living Soil Concentrate
Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Water with a mix of 3 tablespoons molasses per gallon of water and let sit in a dark warm place for a week before use

Does not say to “buffer” the coco; sounds like a decent mix actually. A much better plan than you had at the start imo.

Nice thanks. Just had to do more research i dont knos how to DM i went to your profile didnt see option to private chat. Can you link perlite and coco that you use if you dont mind. I was thinking Canna coco bricks brick and rehydrate and buffer but if the coco you use requires no buffer then tjsts the route ima take.
Even though no buffer i still need to atleast rinse both coco and perlite correct?

With all things in life I like to keep things simple.
my local garden centre stocks: sand(sharp), Jack's magic soil, garden lime, bonemeal, fish and blood, chicken shit, Kemp (seawead)

I remove lumps with a garden sieve and add 30% sand,

Add 1/2 cup of bonemeal, blood and bone
Add 1/4 cup of seaweed, chicken shit and lime
Mix for one 18ltr pot

Mix well, soak 2 weeks before using, so all the food breaks down in the soil.

Been using this mix for the last 5 years and I reuse 50% of the old soil.

Very happy the crop considering my dry nutes cost me couple of quick per crop.

Taking all the lumps out of the soil and adding sand means, when you water the roots, they can't get water logged.

Add all the dry nutes I use and the amount in my last post( 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup amounts per 18ltr pot)
