Why is Voting by mail such a issue now ?

It's never been an issue until now, Why is that ?

I am going in person to vote with a mask on.

I am losing faith in the post office with his buddy in charge that if I vote by mail it somehow won't make it where it is suppose to on time.

How much more do Trump supporters need to see before it's to late ?

But I don't think these people standing behind this Man are. I believe some not all are the ones that just want to cause friction at every turn, You say blue they say green, You say it's nice and sunny and they will say is cold and raining. The other's are Money hungry and just want more with less regulations on shit so they can Prosper and fill their bank accounts

i agree with this assessment but people drank bleach after Trumpys* suggestion.

My state (Hawaii) started mandatory mail-in voting this year...the recent primary had one of the largest voter turnouts in history.
The ordinary tactics to hinder minority votes like closing polling sites won’t work If everyone is able to vote from the comfort of their own homes. Last year, Texas closed hundreds of polling sites, mostly in minority communities.

Most states have will have drop boxes available for in-state mail-in ballots.

I'd put Trump's and the Republican Party's leadership style down as fascist, one of the variants of autocratic leadership. I's a particularly brutal political ideology. I'll be glad to see Trump gone but I don't think Republicans will give up their fascist ways. The one they put up in 2024 is going to be worse.

Oregon's mail in system has been around for decades. The first time I voted after moving here it was glorious. Sit down with a cup of joe, mark the easy choices and then look up information on the other issues to help decide.

Texas won't allow mail-in ballots for residents, only absentee ballots. So, we can forget the opinion polls that say "tossup". They will, as you say, close or slow down polling sites wherever they see fit to do so. Of the states that are prohibiting mail in ballots, the only blue one is New York.

There was a story on NPR this morning about how most states are changing the wording from absentee ballot to mail in ballot, can’t remember too much of it though

You still had mental problems, religion, and racism back then though.

But you are right, anytime there is a expansion in the information we receive as humans, a certain percentage of them tend to lose their minds.

It will be very nice to actually research the issues I am voting on for a couple minutes before actually deciding yes or no.

Because Trump wants low turn-out as that is his road to victory. This election will be won by the democrats if everybody votes. Voter suppression is the number one play in the republican play book.
