Spiliting stems or ice flush

I've been reading some new strategies to try to produce more trichomes during flower. One I'm very curious about hardly been done but I've came across some very interesting articles about ice flushing. Giving the plants buckets of ice last 48 hours before harvest with complete darkness to stress plants to produce more trichomes. Have any of you tried this if so what are you're results or do you know any good reads/articles on it. Mine are outdoor so I can't give complete darkness but I'm interested and may experiment with a plant

Also curious on splitting self explained show me you're before afters or comparsions without split

Robert Bergman on ILGM has a whole article on the stem splitting in read it the other week I’m still unsure to try or not
P.s. just Incase I do I have some 100% organic bamboo Chopsticks, lol, for the split and a few zip ties

Don't forget to hang them upside down so all the THC runs down to the buds too.

I tried coke too and what a rush! Tried it lots more after that as well. Acid is even more trippy. lol
