Why is Voting by mail such a issue now ?

I wish I could just say everyone should vote by going in person but that's not fair for anyone who may be worried about Covid, So We need this Mail in voting which has never been a problem until Trump. Now it seems to be one because our leader knows he will lose come Nov or Dec. As Trump calls all the cities the Democrats are running a disaster which in all my years have never heard a President go after the other party so hard without any Proof.

Please I ask you this man is just a bully and doesn't deserve to be in charge of anything. He's such a nightmare, So please Vote for Biden and Harris to bring us back to a Great America again instead of all the Chaos and hatred we are seeing now.

Thanks all for all your input and great thoughts it is helping others learn about how our Country should be run and isn't at this time.

If we stand together as one we can overcome this horrible Person that only cares about himself. The man the Blames Democrats when he is the one in Charge. what a sad human he is !!

Peace and Love my Brothers and Sisters. :)

Make voting compulsory. Problem solved as the electoral office will then have to make voting easier for all.

This manipulation of boundaries and boxes being removed and polling stations closed down and counting machines removed is just 3rd world dispot stuff.
Cannot believe the American people of any political leanings allow it. Its not democratic in any way shape or form.

Which he is really trying hard to be.

But we are not 3rd world citizens and will wait for November to oust him as a nation.

The left tends to be PC with 'they go low, we go high' . but Michelle Obama said it the other night, paraphrasing, 'we go high' doesn't mean we let them run over us. Pelosi and Schumer are hopefully settling this weekend. Pelosi's House has the purse she can write her own bill and if they don't sign? <shrug> she has the money and is getting to retirement. What are they going to do to her? she will give us our $600 unemployment guaranteed until the end of the pandemic no more negotiating. Fix the Post Office debacle. Who's going to stop her?

PS they have been impeaching and running oversight but when you have a person who does as he pleases..?

That's a terrible idea
Why?
It works in other 1st world democracies.
Compelling voters to the polls for an election removes interference with accessing a polling place, reducing the impact that external factors such as the weather, transport, or restrictive employers might have. If everybody must vote, restrictions on voting are identified and steps are taken to remove them.
Not to mention the outcome is far more democratic as the vast majority of adults have had their say.

So you’re going to take a “free” country where people have died from our right to choose whether or not to vote, and force everyone to vote. Sounds very Trump like.

Its still a free country. Well as free as it was before. Maybe more free? Or would become more free than it is?
Does it? Do you think Trump wants everybody to vote?

Yes for him.
Unlike you I’m not going to impose on peoples freedoms just to force them to vote.
What freedoms does it oppose upon? If its just that a person must choose to vote then thats a real easy one to get around. At 18 years of age a person can enroll to vote. They dont have to enroll and a person can enroll whenever they choose to. Once they have enrolled they are expected to vote for life. That gives an adult choice and a responsibility. Small fine if they fail their obligation and dont vote without reason. Freedom to choose is covered. Allot like a drivers licence- except free and you cannot lose it.
The people are the govt. The more people have their say then the quicker things the majority want happens. Soldiers work for the people, also a massive voting base. You think they would be paid better? Me to.

Why would you imprison them for? Why would you possibly want more Americans imprisoned for? Like you guys have the worlds biggest prison population by %.

Good god no, I'm from a country that people have to vote in. Our solders get paid better and get a good pension and we have free healthcare and stuff. We facilitate a good election and election turn out, mail in voting and pre voting stations, Lots of polling stations in every area on election day ( a Sunday) - its easy to vote.
