To be fair, he looks like he’s a new jack. I started with CFLs until I found which way was up.

id re do it with a cookie sheet or some form of thin sheet metal wood and or cardboard really should not be in a grow room or part of a light.. have you ever removed a transformer from a brick wall to see burn marks on the brick. now imagine mounting that to wood. CFLs good enough for a starting point
