I have a 11x11 room with intake air and outtake... 2 carbon filters a 4" and 6" and 2 HPS lights...and 3 more fans moving the air...how many plants should i try to grow and what method or techniques give the biggest yield? I have medical license for up to 25 but I know that it way too many.

I have had 1 successful crop of 2 plants... they got me a little over 9 ounces.... now I have 8 in their 3rd week of flower that I topped(fin'ed) when they were babies but because they were getting so big after the last transplant that I put a net to try to control the height of the colas and to get a better yield....I grew the first 2 in a 4x8 text then half way through veg I relocated to a room....

5'x10' area.
Up to 8 plants with a short (4wk) veg, 2 plants 8-10wk veg, or anywhere in between works well.
10x10 grow area... so i let them get too big this crop?

For 10x10 you would need 4kW. You have enough for 5x10. (50w/sq.ft.)
It'll just be tight like that first pic of mine.
That grow is what made me decide to go to a long veg 2 plant 2kW 4x8 setup instead. (5x10 would be better)
I figured why have 8 cramped plants when I can produce the same amount from 2?
Second picture is my beginning to that. But she only had 5 weeks veg and not the 10wks those following behind her will have.
And if I manage my 1,000 gram harvest every 5 weeks as planned from 1 plant, I'll be a happy camper.
