so I'm looking at the sf-2000. Is it good for flowering as well as veg. Has to be good for both. Will it hold up to 6 plants. I'm growing auto's. Will it get atleast an ounce to two ounces a plant if not more. Not looking for 1,000 dollar light like the hlg.

Depends on your space. The specs show it good for a 2 X 4 foot space.

If you’re going to buy a China light just buy one from China instead of paying a middleman a huge markup. $300 for 200w is too much.

I got 2 Kingbrite 240w from Alibaba for $320 shipped with the same Samsung diodes and Meanwell driver. Took 6 days to get here.

Go with either a 240w or 320w.

I would get 2 240w units and dim them a bit, they would give you better spread and you also have the option to mix the spectrum by getting 1 3000K and 1 3500K if you choose to do so. You could also get away with 1 320w but there is only about a $40-50 difference in getting 2 240w and you wouldn't get as good of light spread.

I bought both the SF1000 and SF2000. They are excellent lights compared to some of the "low cost" rebranded variants out there. For your space, you would definitely need 2. These lights NukaKola suggest will do the trick and save you some $$$.

Haven’t used them but have seen a ton of good reviews with par maps and such and some great grow vids as well. To tell the truth I haven’t seen a bad review on vid.

I do agree with those ^ guys. In a space like yours growing autos and possibly different strains it is beneficial to have separate lights. In case you get some that flower taller or mature quicker you can put the larger on one side and adjust the lights separately.

Like you I am doing the same research. But just looking to light up a 2x2. looking mostly at the viparspectra p1500 because it is like less than $120 on Amazon. Doesn’t have the Meanwell and Samsung pretty much generic Chinese components. But I am thinking they are about to drop a new model with same type components SF uses.

Anyway I haven’t owned any of them just watches a lot of great vids and grows and the SF stuff gets a lot of great . Can’t really go wrong IMO

The link is in the post.

You can start with one for vegging but for flowering 240w for your space is under 30w per sq ft which is the minimum I would run and you get a deal on shipping getting both at the same time.
So you do need to in order to get 2 ounces per plant?

So you do need 2 in order to flower in order to get 2 ounces a plant? Or can I just live with one for now? I'm trying to work my way up. Just wandering if I can get like 2 ounces a plant

I wouldn't go by ounces per plant because that varies by size of the plant, veg time, strain, training techniques, etc. A good rule of thumb is if you have 30-40w per sq ft. of LED's to try and yield 1 GPW (gram per watt). As your experience increases you can set a higher goal of around 1.5+ GPW.

So with a single 240w light a realistic goal would be around 240 grams.

At the absolute minimum what do I need to see good results. Right now with my 600 watt king led. I'm look at maybe half an ounce per plant for only 2 plants

No, that is the total yield to shoot for regardless of the number of plants. Yield is more limited on the amount of light and not the number of plants. The number of plants affects the time required to veg.

Your 600w light kind is really only 120w and blurple lights aren't very effective. For your size space you want in between 280-400w of quality LED lights.

Your lights are 240 and the spiders are?
