Thats about the price for a 240 kingbrite with shipping on alibabaView attachment 4660526That’s the price of the 120w with a discount code. Shipping for being in the USA is high. But the code makes this a Good price. The about us says they are part of a Canadian company.
Still hesitant and debating on what to pull the trigger on.
Very true. Just priced that out again. 240w 301b 3500k light shipped to me is $152. I’ve never ordered from there but not sure if there is a duty fee. I’m assuming there is not base off the statement on the screen shot.Thats about the price for a 240 kingbrite with shipping on alibaba

I’d probably end up paying around 150 for a HLG 96 Elite V2 also. After I got the 185 watt driver and sourced some wiring.

That’s good to hear. Are you happy with them?No duty fee. Got my order in 6 days.
I haven’t had them very long, just started seeds last week. They seem to be good quality and are bright as hell. I went with the double heatsink option and made my own brackets to get the best spread and so I could mount the driver on it’s own plate instead of sitting on top of the heatsink. That’s good to hear. That looks pretty sweet. Would love updates as they go head to head for sure!I haven’t had them very long, just started seeds last week. They seem to be good quality and are bright as hell. The 2 240w will be going head to head with my 600w HPS shortly.

I’ll be starting a journal shortly. It won’t be a true scientific comparison as I’m running seeds, will have some slight light overlap with no partition and they are in the same room so I can’t perfectly dial the temps in for each kind of light. That looks pretty sweet. Would love updates as they go head to head for sure!
I mean we got off topic...but it’s all good info. I mean if everything is rocking why change it??I thought this was a thread about HLG QB96 Elits v2's. What happened here? I'm thinking about getting a couple more QB96's to add in parallel to my existing pairs for better spread, but everything seems to be rocking pretty good already, so not sure if I need to spend the money right now.
I use one HLG-240H-54A driver for each pair of QB96's. One thing about the QB96's is that you do need a bit more headroom, because they are made of high powered LEDs, and sometimes I have plants that get real tall so I'd like to split the load a bit and get more spread with an additional unit added to a pair. That means each unit would be run softer, which also would increase efficiency. More light for the same wattage is always a good thing.I mean we got off topic...but it’s all good info. what driver are you using?

Nice. I think that is a common paring from my reading. That makes complete sense. So in that regard maybe it is wise for your use to grab two more of them! If I got one I was going to pair it with the 185h-54a.I use one HLG-240H-54A driver for each pair of QB96's. Hella affordable huh! And a ton of optionsWell ya,,you have to filter the correct wattage for the correct price in the drop down. Smh..peace out.
Usually between 12 and 18 inches, depending on where in the grow cycle I am, and how hard I'm running them.what height off canopy are you running ?
That looks like a pretty neat light but too big for my purposes. Just looking at that design makes me considering using Samsung F strips or BridgeLux Gen 2 strips to do a build once again.http://instagr.am/p/CETaCl6hWbc/ 25% off

Nice! I'll be wiring up two 96's to a HLG-320H-54A tonight if UPS decides to deliver on time for once.Well broke down an ordered a HLG185 driver and one 96. I like the versatility and my ability to add another down the road to increase efficiency and spread! Almost got two but for my purpose one should be plenty!
That’s awesome! What size space are you running them in? I just need to source and plug and 18 gauge wire and I’m g2g.Nice! I'll be wiring up two 96's to a HLG-320H-54A tonight if UPS decides to deliver on time for once.
