10ft plants will not flower! Help

I have some pretty big plants going that I started indoors in February and moved outdoors on June 1st and put in the ground. All my sativa dominant blue dream and pink Hawaiian have been flowering for about a month but my indica dominant strawberry banana haven’t even started yet and they are monsters. 10-11 feet in height. They seem healthy and are growing like crazy but just won’t start flowering. Anyone else ever had this happen? These are name brand dark heart nursery clones by the way. Any possible answers or suggestions appreciated

Ask their mama. I didn't mean to sound sarcastic, but the mama plant would give you some pretty precise details, wouldn't she?

As I said though these are store bought name brand clones. I have no access to the mother plant
I think he was saying ask the store you got them from.

But you're sure there are no light leaks right? Shouldnt be if the sativas are flowering and are near there.

Its still right around that time where people are flowering, some started a few weeks ago, some are starting to hit their stride now.. I have one that just barely is starting (41st / 42nd parallel lat.)

Id wait it out, or talk to the guy who sold it to you, ask the store if they have any personal experience growing it out and what sort of times to expect.

Youre not giving them to much Nitrogen vs other elements?

Weed generally likes the same amount of Nitrogen, and it does Phosphorus, and 2x the amount of Potassium as it does N-P. If the Nitrogen content exceeds a certain %%% it can keep the plants vegging, vs flowering. Sometimes they can also flower, and the buds are really green, and retarded.

Not saying this is your problem, just something to think about.

Also those Strawberry Banana even though mostly Indica in genetics, are actually Sativa Dominant, and are not done until Late October, into Middle November, so to me, its not surprising they arent flowering yet. Strain report says theyre best grown in a Greenhouse if not indoors under lights because of the long flowering times outside.

Its ok, I have something similar going on. Indicas show flowers a bit later than the others do. And they get huge right before they do it. I just had to nail closet doors to the top of my fence cuz of a Lemongrass by Dark Heart. You'll be just fine don't sweat it

Is it possible there is a light source at night that doesn't allow some of your plants enough consistent dark time to begin flowering?

Porch light? Lights from house illuminating plants ?

Was thinking the same but figured since he said sativas were going I ended up thinking there wasnt.

Its pitch black dark at night where I have them. Only light they get would be from the moon and stars.

It’s probably a bit hot for weed to tell you truth, it’s about a 7.5 when tested and has quite a bit of turkey poop in it. It’s what a local soil place calls “ planters mix. I’ve been using ph down in every watering

If all youre using is Turkey Shit, thats all Nitrogen, its possible theyll never flower if there's is still alot left in the soil.

Also need to get the PH down to 5.8-6.4 Add 4 inches of Sphagnum Moss to the top 4 inches of soil. Also needs a balanced feed supply.

Definitely dark heart nursery and strawberry banana , I personally got them from a local very reputable dispensary and I even tracked the drop on darkhearts website . All have darkhearts plastic stakes in them and are listed as strawberry banana with all their company info. Did you start yours in February? Are yours flowering now?

Hey there, I have several of the same strain, same dark heart, exact thing happening to me, they are huge, very healthy looking, everything else S flowering but those are not at all, looking very stringy and airy on top, no flowers, hopefully, it’s just the strain. Here in Oakland CA

so that’s three of us with big ass plants, same strain, same company’s product and all of them are real late to flower. Maybe I will
Give darkheart a call tomorrow and see if I can get a human on the phone. see what they say about it.

Sounds like its just the strain then...

If they're growing like crazy they're probably stretching now, and will be full flowering within a couple weeks...
I wouldnt worry about it if its 3 of you guys with the same issue from the same breeder.
