11 weeks of flower ! Need some advice?

Hey everyone,

this is my first grow, I have 2 banana kush(seeds purchased online) and one plant (I found a seed one day in a bag of leftovers) so not sure about the strain, anyway it’s been 11 weeks of flower and I’ve chopped some of the stems down due to some of the buds looking ready, however I noticed the top Colas (closest to the light)dont Seem to be as frosty as I like them to be and seem kinda (fluffy/airy) . I am not sure if I need to let them mature longer? Do I just chop them down and harvest the smaller ones and start a new batch of other strains? I used fox farm trio the 90% of the grow cycle as in the beginning I was such a newbie and didn’t give any nutes during some of the stages of vegetative growth. I am using a Marshydro2000 led in a 3by3 tent. Please see pictures below and give me your thoughts.

All those white hairs in groups are the flowers that are growing and need time to mature. There are a few weeks left and lots of bulk to be added. You have the "frame" built and its working now to fill it in. Your job is keep it healthy as long as possible until its done.

Half my crop is not done and Im finishing week 13. The time is only important as a reference. Its done only when its done.

Good to know ! Thank you, so do I continue giving it nutrients? Or flush it for 2 weeks? What nutrients did you use from veg to bloom?

Heres the deal.

F me, and everbody else.

You got this going just fine, and theres a lot of talk about those topics.

Keep doing what you have been doing. If you want to go water only or flush its your call. That stuff looks great, it needs time only imo. Nothing different until its done.

Cool, thanks for your help !

IDK...I'm going to recommend you try to do something a little different in your next grow. Those dead sugar leaves in the cola are a clear sign that you had some fairly big issues during the grow. And I've seen fluffy buds like that before....on a plant that was pot-bound and lost all its fan leaves shortly after going into flowering. It also had dead sugar leaves in the colas.

My first guess would be that you had high temps in your tent, as that could easily explain the airy buds. But the dead leaves could be an indication of a lot of other things. IMO You over-fed them at some point in addition to any other environmental issues, so definitely ease-off the nutes next time round.

Temps are 76-78 daytime with 45-47% humidity, nutrients were only given 2 times per week

Ok, temps and humid seem fine then, but...how close is the top cola to the LED? That particular brand of LED does have quite a lot more infrared in the spectrum than Red/Blue led ones, so if your cola is too close it will deteriorate because of the radiated heat...(thc and terpenes will evaporate, leaves will frazzle etc)

On nutes...What nutrients were already in the soil you use? I just use just water from start to harvest, so it certainly isn't a "noob" mistake to do so. If your soil-grown plant is green and healthy then adding additional nutrients will very likely not make it grow faster, and will more likely damage it...particularly if you are doing it 2 times per week!

Unfortunately kolas are 8inches away from it , I kept the plants in veg state for 3 months. So they grew extremely tall. So you don’t use nutrients at all?!!

Nope. Check out the new thread I posted in the newbie forum...on just this topic...with a pic of my latest grow :)

With indoor grows sometimes you just run out of space...not a lot you can do about that if you can't lift the light up or bend the plant away from it..happens to everyone.
