Just mixed in Ferts for the first time

So my girls are about 20 days now, finally yesterday the Gaia greens ferts I ordered came. First time ever using Dry amendments. So hope it went ok. What I did was use my ha d and dig loosen up the medium each side 2 tbsp If all purpose and 2 tbsp of bloom each side working in and mixing around with my fingers and then smoothing it back around and then some water. So total 4 tbsp of each there in 5 gal fabric pots. Did this to all 5 of the girls and now just wait and hope Theyndidnt get any shock. I know usually pre mix the medium before use then top dress as needed but took an extra 4 weeks to get the ferts I ordered.
Thoughts on what I did?

Pre mix depends on the medium. If you are starting with a nutrient rich medium, no need to premix. When i top dress i just dump it on and lightly mix it in, no need to aggressively dig up and work it in; the water will absorb the nutes and bring them to the roots.

I didn't feed the plants, until they showed the first signs of them getting hungry. But yeah, 3-5 week window is about right.

Wondering why you are top dressing and not just watering it into the medium?

**edit** Oh sorry, I now see you're using organics. When you said dry amendments my mind went to mineral based. My b
