HELP!! Week 6 Flowering- leaves turning brown, tips clawing, etc

Can someone help?
Any idea what might be causing this issue.. I’m in week 6 of flowering and I started to notice some yellowing of one my plants and clawing at the tips, shiny green leaves. On August 8, I topped dressed my plants 70/30 Gaia Green 2-8-4 and 4-4-4. I continued to give the plants Cal Mag during each watering. I thought the yellowing was normal at first being that the plants are close to harvest. I have a few pics but now it looks like potassium deficiency but I know thats impossible unless something else caused lockout. I just don’t want to ruin my plants being that it’s my first grow and they’re almost finished. When I noticed the issue I’ve just been giving the plants plant ph’D RO water. I’m using FFHF soil, CalMag, always pH to 6.5. Didn’t have any issues until now

One of my plants in flower did that when I overfed it on accident because of all the nitrogen. But someone else with more grows and experience will chime in soon. Don't stress! that's the main thing I learned with growing.

Looks overwatered. Why is she taking a bath? And youve got a good 3-4 weeks until shes ready.

Lol I took them out the tent to take pics lol.. i place then in the bath tub because the white background makes the plants stand out when taking pics. I didn’t water them while they were in there lol.
It’s hard to see the damage under the LED lights. So are you telling me to do nothing and just let it finish out? I don’t want lose any buds.

How often are you watering? She really just looks overwatered to me. If there is an issue its borderline nutrient burn but I would just wait it out.

A couple days ago I just poured a gallon of pH’d RO water because I thought maybe I caused Nute burn but that’s about it. That was on Monday nothing extravagant. It’s about dried out now. Originally i was watering every 2-3 days because they were drinking fast. Humidity at 50% and Temp ranging between 73-80 degrees. And I’m running CO2. But I haven’t done anything to them since Monday so I’ll wait it out until the weekend and see if they perk back up. Don’t seem to be any damage to the Bud sites though. Just more orange hairs starting to form on the buds. Not sure if this is normal or not being that it’s my first grow.

Yeah as they mature the hairs turn orange. I would just give her plain water for a while. How are you judging when shes ready for water? The best way is to lift the pots.... You can sort of "feel" when they are light and dry. The whole "dry a knuckle deep" thing is not a good way to judge if the pot is dry. If you are new i doubt that co2 is doing you any good. co2 is for sealed rooms which take a good amount of knowledge and money to setup correctly. What sort of setup/lights are you running?

I have a moisture meter. Checking and trying to guess when it needed water was getting annoying. The meter tells me when the soil is dry, moist or wet. I bought TNB CO2 enhancer.. so it’s just a bottle that last for about 7-10 days that you shake everyday. And I have a 600W LED and a 1500W LED inside the tent. When i first started i bought the 600W not knowing that i needed something a little stronger for the amount of plants I have. I want to believe that I let the Northern lights plants got too tall. Pot plus the plant height is 4.5 feet and i have to account for the length of the LED light when it’s hanging as well. This was definitely a learning experience lol. They’re only 17 inches away from the light and I can’t raise it anymore because the tent is only 6.5 feet tall. I see some browning at the bottom but mostly at the top. I think they are okay but being that it’s my first grow every little thing that looks wrong starts to stress me out lol

Most people say those moisture meters are junk..... Fill an empty pot with dry dirt and keep it in or close to the tent. Pick up the pot the plant is in, then pick up the dry pot of dirt. If the pot with the plant feels heavier than the dry pot, its probably not ready for water.

I learned a trick to raise the light slightly higher. Use 2 hangers (the ones that clip to the loops on the light) one hanger for each set of loops on each of the 2 ends. Take the ratchet hangers and attach them to the polls up top on the far ends of the tent. And bring them both to the center to hang your hangers. The light should be able to come within 5 inches of the roof of the tent. I’d show a pic but I don’t have my light set up that way anymore. Hope it works out.

My way basically suspends the light from the ends of the frame instead of hanging from a support above the light.

I have them hanging from the frame lol. They are tall as hell. That why I said I can’t move the light up any further. I’ll just have to deal with it for this grow but moving forward I’ll definitely start flowering a little earlier.

Happened to me when I had nute spikes in (lots of nitrogen)

give the plants a flush and test ppm of your runoff. Don’t over flush though, just enough to get some nitrogen out of the soil. I flushed about 30 gallons through and didn’t have an issue after that. Mine burned upVERY fast though. Every day they were more crispy and brown

Your problem is a lot worse than his. I think just sticking to plain water will work just fine for him.

Yeah probably. Or even a 5 gallon flush since he is close to harvest. 5 gallons would hurt besides get residual salt out and a small amount of nutes. Just to stop the problem in it’s tracks not really slow it down

Yea I definitely feel he leaves things out. But I’m not using Coco Coir, I’m using soil. I wish I wouldn’t have done a 70/30 top dress feed with Gaia Green All purpose 4-4-4 and Gaia Green 2-8-4 bloom. Probably only using the bloom would probably have been better. But I read somewhere the 70/30 is vital for the transition phase into flower. I believe the little bit of Nitrogen I did add is causing the issues and CalMag has a 2% N content. So that could have contributed as well.
