Better seed sprounting

This is my second set of auto tangerine dream. Been a week and a half in damp warm paper towel. I presoaked for 18 hour.
The first batch they told me to resoak and nothing. Are some harder and or longer to sprout? Ideas please

Yeah what the hell are you talking about. If anything it makes it easier and less likely to screw it up when transplanting.
Why would you transplant when you can drop them in a 5 gal container with no problems? Why have someone struggling to germinate. transplant? :wall: :wall: :wall:

OP I drop my seeds right in a 5 gal pot. No paper towel or rapid rooters needed. It’s really that easy. Bury to the first knuckle after saturating the entire pot.

Because next thread will be "I think I over watered my plant"
Gotta have it sprout first. He’s struggling to do that. And you want to suggest making it more complicated

sorry there is no voodoo magic or nothing extra to order off amazon in this method. I’m sure all seeds start in rapid rooters in Mother Nature. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Voodoo magic? You can put it in anything you want but overpotting is stupid. It is not over complicating anything. How much runoff would you say you need for that 5gal with a sprout in it?

Basically OP did something wrong. You either let your paper towel get to dry, have been fucking them to often, or your 'warm' water cooked your embryo.

Never had problems using cold tap water in a room with a AC @ 70degrees.

I never soak my seeds before hand. Thats the only time i ever ran into a problem. I go right into the paper towel.

Hit a varied opinion subject.
GC replaced one set of seed told me to sand lightly soak put on pt. If no sprouting re soak. Now been 10 days. I'm buying from a different source to see if there is a difference. I will try all three ways mentioned. I have 6 GC auto that worked and are 5wks old just not

Just had to add my two cents. Love a good debate.

I spritz a coffee cup or shallow tray with Hydrogen peroxide. Then fill to about two inches with straight tap water in cup. Enough to cover the seeds in the tray. Place where it is at least 72F constantly. In two to four days you should have tails. Poke a half to one inch deep hole in your pot after having moistened it. Use a teaspoon to move the sprout and drop it tail first in the hole. Sprinkle some soil from the side of the pot on top of it and mist till wet. Keep it moist by spraying until it breaks the soil. Make sure all tools, containers and your hands are clean. Hygiene products are mostly toxins. 005.jpg001.jpg
