What's everybodies favorite time to flip to 12-12 and why...

So give me an average. A pound, less, more?
I'm curious what your yield would be with a 90 day veg.
I already gave a size estimate of 150 tops and each top should be 12"X3" of dense nugs. A sensimilla run would be ideal but breeding reduces the energy available to flowers so I have no idea what to expect.

Apparently you're avoiding my question. Your size estimate on the tops doesn't have anything to do with final weight.
Have a nice day.

I think I've been pretty clear on the whole 'I don't know'. Not every question has an easy answer so you have a nice day and bless your heart.

To answer the original question..... when the plant tells me to. Sometimes 6 weeks, sometimes 10 or so. If plant structure is solid and LST does what i want then 6 weeks. If it needs LST and super cropping, topping and (rarely) Fimming and things stall the 10 weeks or more sometimes.

Thats just me, time is irrelevant.

I flip when they get 12 inches tall. i grow an 8 plant sog in a 2ft by 4 ft tent. I get shorter veg times and higher yeilds than I got with a 2 plant scrog and a lot less work

My plants out grew solo cups in 14 days. Transplanted to 3 gallon pots and 14 days later roots were coming out of the drain holes. Should I up pot to a 7 or 10? The pic was taken yesterday, day 33 from sprout
14 days is when I transplant as well. Don't worry about the roots coming out of the drain holes........that'll eventually happen no matter what size pot you use.

I'm not a soil grower, but most soil growers use 5-7 gallon pots. I'm in coco and I only use 2.5 gallon pots.

Good luck brother.

Am I the only one who doesn't veg? I start my seeds in 12/12 and they stay in 12/12, simple 5 gallon DWC setup, I am 100% LED now but have used all kinds of lights.
Depending on the strain and lights I still sometimes outgrow my tent height,
I yield anywhere from ~30-120 grams per plant, again depending on lights/strain
I usually harvest 4 times a year in each tent, depending on the strains because.. you know.. flower time.
so 3 months start to finish and it fills the tents each time, I don't see an increase in herms, I don't see a downgrade in bud quality or flavor, and im not sure why more people don't 12/12 from seed.

heres an example from a recent run in the 2x4
started on 4/3/2020

finished on 6/29/2020 - 440G under a mars tsl2000 - so 300W - probably my best gram/watt ratio to date.

I flip a week or two after they've been transplanted into 5 gal. containers from being rootbound in 3 gal. containers. Usually 8-10 weeks of veg time from seed depending on flower room availability.

Super grow!

I've done direct 12/12 with cuts and read many journals of Dutch growers doing it with seed, but i never tried it myself. The idea does appeal to me but the different phenotypes and their hight make me stick to cuts.

Pheno hunting and pollen chucking is why I grow :)
