Depends on the application. Tolerable in drain to waste. In reservoir setups it’ll feed bacteria that are capable of generating 4.x pH just by being many tiny assholesI have a question about lowering my ph with lime juice is it effective and safe?
Sorry I don’t have the grow experience to give you useful answers.Im growing in pro mix with added ewc. I transplanted from a solo cup to a 3 gallon fabric pot into the pro mix ewc and some happy frog 7-4-5 granular fertilizer that was on august 5th now today I transplanted into a 5 gallon plastic pot with the pro mix and some ewc no fertilizer this time because i plan on using fox farm trio now is that ok
The ph-up is problematic because it introduces a lot of sodium ion. If your product is potassium-based, you’re good.Another question is can I use aquatic ph up ph down from a pet store I don’t have a store local that sells that stuff
If that’s your plan, I would start light, and gradually increase. Most bottle fed plants start and end that way so they’re already acclimated to the feed. Doesn’t mean it won’t work the way you’re trying to do it, just go easy in the beginning. And only feed half of the trios recommended dosage once you hit full strength, it’s pretty potent and will burn the girls. As far as ph up and down, if you can’t get the real stuff, lemon and vinegar work as a down, baking soda as an up. I’ve fortunately never had to use either. Order the real stuff on line if you can’t get it in the store.Im growing in pro mix with added ewc.
