Better seed sprounting

I've never known of that length of time for weed seed germination, I wouldn't be to optomistic about it rooting though I hope I'm wrong.

My 2p regarding paper or soil/coco, it doesn't matter, its wet that the important part.
I used to soak seeds in h2o2 95% you have a tap root in 12/18hrs I'd then pot it and leave it.

putting your paper towel in a plastic baggie helps keep it moist tell you see your tap root than you can plant in a solo cup about finger tip deep this works well for me.
But you run the risk of root damage. Look at a seed with a sprout under magnification. There are very tiny hairs"roots" all along the tap root. Open soak avoids all those problems. And beans are pricey. Why add another thing to easily go wrong? K.I.S.S..

The oxygenated water that some over priced scam artist are selling as super rooting kits. I find the time frame stated to be a bit exaggerated. Hundreds of seeds and nothing even close to your claim.

I can assure you it's not a claim, I'd need to be very stupid to join a forum then start lying about germination times, have you ever used nitrozyme and h2o2?
Eta... No clearly you haven't or you wouldn't doubt it, that aside even with plain water you'll see at least some splitting or tap root after 18hrs.. Eta with some of the seeds out a 10 pack.
If you really have done 100s of seeds then your clearly not very good at it.

I suppose a tap root x3 after 6 hrs isn't possible ;-) it is!

Does anyone use nitrozyme and/or h2o2 for soaking seeds? could you state the time period for seeds cracking when soaked in the mixture?

Thanks SD

Drop us some seeds and time lapse for 24 hrs. Post pics hourly. H2O2 is definitely part of my routine. But I have yet to see any actual proof of seeds sprouting in under 18-24 hours.

Never called you a liar. Just said that time frame doesn't make sense. Put up some pictoral documentation when make speculative claims. And touting fancy chemicals.

I didn't for a second think it would be doubted to be honest, it's not by any stretch unusual... dunno I,m baffled?
Fwiw nitrozyme and h2o2 aren't fancy chemicals ones sea weed extract and the other is a chemical used for thousands of things including fueling rockets.

Are we conversing now? Beats fighting. I'm aware of the products. Seaweed extract: "fancy chemical (enzymes}", extracted by man. Not nature. Over priced unnecessary complication. 30+ years without it. Very high success rate with all seeds and ages.

Some people need help. But we should help them to do it naturally without gimmicks and tricks they don't need. The more basic we can make it, the more people that succeed. 002.jpg

I like to start them with T5 tubes but more for economy, once they shoot I want them under mh ASAP, I've never tried led so I can't comment on them.

But if I'm still in veg I'll slide them under the big plants for shade......saves even more energy.

If you don't mind when the time comes I'd love to see a photo of them in full bloom.

I’m at about 98%
Soak in a cup in the cabinet for 2 days
Damp paper towel in ziplock baggie
On top of cable box for 2 days
Usually end up with 1-2 inch long tap root
Place it in medium

When I put my seeds in a paper towel. I also put them in a plastic bag then blow up the bag and seal it. Leave it in a dark place for 24hrs. Some seeds just don’t pop. I had 40 seeds and only 1 didn’t pop.
