Clones flowering too early

(1st problem)-I bought a “skittles” clone. The clone is about 5 weeks old now it started pre flowering.I just wanted to grow one plant so I can turn it into a mother plant and make clones from it. I am a rookie. I have the plant under a 2 foot T5 fluorescent light.. and I’m watering it with ph balance 6.0 water with 10 ml of CLONEX clone and seedling nutrient “per liter of water” I water it once A day. I don’t know why it started to flower so young. (2nd problem)- I transferred the plant into a 3 inch rock wool cube a week ago. I looked today, and I pulled the whole rapid rooted plug out of the cube, it did not root into the bigger cube AT ALL! Idk why. (3erd problem)- the branches aren’t growing out and the leaves are yellowing from the tips down and the tips are black.. I think a magnesium deficiency. Please help!

If your light is on 18 hours a day, it is not flowering. Just showing sex. As far as keeping a mother goes, just use soil. So much easier. Add fertilizer ever few weeks or so. Water when dry. And a stronger light would be a smart move.

Yes. Obviously. But if those roots are growing out into the new block that plant ain't gonna grow either.

Let the plug dry and water the rockwool block. The roots will search for moisture.

I know, why isn’t it rooting into the grow block? Should I transfer it to a pot with “50%coco 50% perlite”?

I dont know anything about hydro. Soil is what makes sense to me so thats what i do.

I have these lights and Balases in the garage from when i used to help my pops grow real OG KUSH when I was younger. “5th-9th grade”.....I’m 25 now, and haven’t even touched a plant since then. “Been to prison twice since then too lmfao” so is this a good light to use?

Yeah man toss some fresh hortilux 1000w bulbs in them and your good to go. I'd tell you to keep it legal this time but I'm sure you will.

Those are for HPS bulbs and CMH I think. Most ppl I see using those use the CMH for veg and the HPS for flowering. Just a switch of the bulb... but I think they both use the reflectors. and 1000W is pretty damn good if u ask me.

I stepped in the game and went straight for energy efficient LED's.. learning the ups and downs as I go.

got you, I’ll do that. I’m gonna keep this small and T5 light and tent for the mother plant and for project plants “weed Bonsai trees and such” separate. Then ima buy a 4 feet by 3 feet by 6 feet high tent and put around 15 plants in it. How many 1000W HPS lights will be able to fit in the tent? I’m sure only 1? And of course I’ll have the proper ventilation and air pumping through the light with the ducts’n shit

Back in the day pops used to grow, that’s why I have those1000w HPS lights. Got the power hooked up straight to the powerlines so that it doesn’t just drink the shit out of the electricity when he had the grow room up and running. Not tripping about energy efficiency that much lol, but in other circumstances that’s a smart move.

That’s a lot of plants for 12 sqft. With 12 inch pots.. 12 is all you can fit with no space for anything else to be on the floor. I can imagine u can put 2 of those lights in there with the right extraction for the heat.
