That's actually a nice benefit of the CO2 tax. Even though it's applied to domestic goods as well, the cost is a lot more for foreign-made products due to the increased fuel use for transportation. This way, they can tax foreign-made good more heavily while getting around trade agreements that are already in place.It wouldn't be so atrocious if it was at least taken at the same rate regardless of how much you made... actually I lie, I still would have a problem with that, just it'd be at least a little more balanced.
Flat 10%, though I'd prefer 0% Income taxes, and just taxing imports.
Imagine how many people driving BMWs, Mercedes, Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bugattis would pay in taxes for importing them.
