So i just found some mold on one bud on a plant at 7 weeks of 12/12. I was looking at how the plant was doing and noticed that it had one leaf sticking from the bud that looked like it was dried out and yellowed a little, but still soft and i also noticed a lot of brown pistils around it, peeked inside the bud and saw some mold, so i chopped that branch off. I did not find anything similar on other buds and even on this it was just one spot and had not spread much and mold is not visible outside.
Humidity during day is around 45rh and the min/max setting on my hygrometer shows that it has went to 64rh during night(few days ago 60 was max at night), but its not that high all of the dark time.
I should have good enough aeration and have kept the bottom of the plant even maybe a bit too clean and well aerated. One thing that i think could had caused this is if i pulled off a leaf and it gathered some moisture inside the bud that then caused it to rot. But this particular branch did get least aeration.
Here is a short video showing how its aerated, as its hard to take pic through all the mess. If someone could tell me if this should be enough. You can see where i cut this branch from, its furthest from the fan aerating underside of the plant.
So how to go around this? Do you suspect that this is just one isolated case, or should i worry more on others? Its not too far from being finished and id rather chop it now than have the whole plant rot away. This is supposed to be my weed for the next like two months after its supposed to finish, so i really would not like to lose it all :/ But if i cut it now, i dont think there is enough for me to last for 2 months yet, especially considering its not finished yet.. And the freakshows next to it, well they will finish sooner, but yield will be so low i cant count much more than week on them.
edit. fuck i just found another spot :/
